It looks weird in a live-action movie.

Anime was never ment to be live-action in the first place.

I want to watch Saint Seiya but there are so many different series of it on Crunchyroll. Which one do I start with?

They look alien bug eyes. Seriously, one of the main parts of Alita is the juxtaposition between her cute appearance and the shit she does in the story.

It's a lot of fun. I hadn't smiled so much from something so heartwarming in a while.

Yeah, some of us haven't seen it yet. So don't start discussing it here. This is an anime thread.

I don't really watch anime per se, but I watch a number of anime abridged series (serieses? serii? seriae?), namely, Hellsing Ultimate Abridged, Dragonball Z Abridged, and Sword Art Online Abridged.
It might not exactly apply, but I don't really watch anime apart from it. I've read manga, too, and have chewed my way through DragonBall Classic and Full Metal Alchemist (and attempted to get through Naruto, but got bored before finishing it), but that was a while ago.

I had to get it out of my system and it's your choice to click the spoiler or not. Not that it's anything too specific.

Eh...I could watch new things this Christmas break or I could watch or re-watch old things. I'll likely watch Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water and skip through the crappy island arc. Or I could try to find DVD copies of the Giant Robo OVAs to keep myself occupied.

Of course I didn't click it. Cause as I said, I HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET. And if you spoil it for me, you'll be on my ignore list til doomsday. So take it to a thread meant for it.

I do remember seeing the FMA one years ago, at least some of it.

Surprise surprise, though. My favorite Abridged series/fandub is the gangsta dub of Madoka Magica. IIRC the abridged Madoka series got deleted from Tumblr and YT.

I've heard good things about it, but for reasons I never fully understood I never got around to watching it.

Just binged the entirety of Overlord last night. I liked it, though it would've been cool for it to stick with the world domination plan.

Been watching Ancient Magus Bride. Despite a lot of uncomfortable undertones, this show is actually quite nice.

Live action Erased. Surprisingly not bad though I admit I don't know the story.

Rewatching rozen maiden. Desu. Also rewatching chaika, man that show is adorable for what is supposed to be a gritty adventure.

Finished made in abyss, solid adventure with super creepy stuff that goes on.

It's okay from what I recall.
New season of that coming soon.

Yeah, I kinda stopped watching it about episode 7, the plot just wasn't moving enough for me. Dunno if it's improved I haven't really felt the desire to watch more.

On a relevant note, there are around 20 days left till the new season of Overlord begins airing.
