Shippuden became shit after Kakuzu and Hidan and proceeded to stay that way for the rest of the series.

Itachi is the greatest, the character with the best story in the entire series- without a doubt. I'd say everything is bad about the Great Ninja War, I don't care about it all that much and it drags on for too long. Am still in the process of getting through all of it. A lot of people skip the filler but unfortunately, I don't. Some filler was good but a ton of it just sucks.

I hate that Yota kid. But that was a nice twist, that he was dead the entire time. The worst thing about Shippuden is repeat flashbacks and scenes. Not even the original Naruto series was that bad about it.

Itachi, Kakashi, and Shikamaru are the top three. Hinata is my favorite, but much of her story wasn’t developed until later.

Shippuden officially started to go downhill after Sasuke survived Deidara’s C-4. At that point Kishimoto was just forcing Sasuke to keep living, even after he had almost no purpose except to get in the way of everyone else. Then it almost got better with the Itachi fight...then Itachi died. I don’t think a single person would have been upset if Itachi killed Sasuke. Except maybe Naruto, but even that was forced more or less through the end of the series. And Sakura, who seemed to like putting herself in Sasuke’s way repeatedly and letting him hurt her. But yeah, after that fight it wasn’t worth it.

Because of semester assignments I always watch things behind schedule and I began to watch made in Abyss. I'm into episode 2 and its clear Riko is a spelunker in more than one sense and that Reg's most memorable special ability so far is breaking measuring sticks.

I only ever watched one ep of Watamote when it was on, before dropping it for a pretty trivial reason.

Now, in a bit of a lull for watchable stuff, partner suggested this as one of the things to tide us over. Suppose that's okay.

I got several "this reminds me of you" comments in the first episode alone. Yeah, that'll be why I didn't stick at it, good to know the similarities weren't just in my head...

Oh well, good to face your flaws head on, so guess I'll stick with it this time.

I'm terrible at watching series. If I try to watch them an episode per day I just end up procrastinating and it takes weeks to watch another episode. If I force myself through 2-3 episodes I get into watching mood and end up marathoning stuff until I have to stop, basically only when I have to go to work or sleep.

I like to use shows like kemono friends as a stabiliser for the darker or more dramatic shows I end up watching. It's good to have something on the backburner to go back to after seeing a grim show.

Apparently it was one of the highest rated shows on MAL so it must be the best thing ever. Though it looks like the fun police took it down a few pegs because MAL ratings are super serious.

It's supposed to be a "remember when you thought about things like this, see how overly dramatic you thought things were?"

It's a fairly unique show, but it's not easy to get into.

There first episode of Zodiac Wars sucked. The quirky characters sucked, the passing sucked, the focus on one character sucked, and the end sucked. Still going to watch a few more episodes just to see where it goes though.

I saw lot of people elstwhere comment on Zodiac war along lines of "you'd better (re)watch Future Diary", which is interesting, because even first seconds of Mirai Nikki put me off, yet I got intrigued by Zodiac.
But it was a probably to do with preconceived notions with series when I tried it.
