Huh...

Reading the premise suggests it could be good.

Adding it to the watch list. So, that's like 3 months or so to watch it.

Never heard of...oh it's an ecchi show. Well then.

Old Tyrannia wrote:Watched One Punch Man. It's pretty funny, and does a good job of parodying some of the common tropes that pop up both in anime and in Western superhero fiction. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

I've been meaning to watch it but never got round to it.

Gundam Wing is immensely stupid. By far, the stupidest anime series I've watched.

On the other hand, it's still less dumb than most of what's on TV at the moment.

Finished Gundam 0079
Up until episode 30 the show isn't very good to be honest.
Char isn't very interesting until the last few episodes.
Garma was a decent villain, and I loved how his 2nd in command tried to pick up his girl on the rebound after his death.
Jamba Jai was good. Ryu and Matilda had dumb deaths.
But then they go back to space around episode 30.
Throughout those first 30 episodes Amuro gains more and more ass-kicking ability and it reaches critical mass at this point to reach prime ass kicking levels. People also stop being stupid around this time.
Though it takes until episode 41 for him to figure out how to lead a target.
Last 3 episodes were awesome and worth the whole show.
Sword fights with jetpacks are something every climax needs.

She's quite cute.

I would personally say Misty is also a likeable tsundere, but that's only because I prefer Misty over a lot of the other Pokemon girls.

LotGH still going strong and plot is pretty interesting.

Having fun with "Akashic records of bastard magic instructor" (What is it with anime and long titles?) still fun.

Just picked up love live, because I've run out of K-on.

In no particular order:

Shows:
Gunbuster (And its different but also fantastic sequel Diebuster)
Planetes (Also read the manga)
Cowboy Bebop
Steins;Gate (Bonus points if you play the VN instead/before)
Gurren Lagann

Movies:
Ghost in the Shell
Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise
Kimi no Na wa
Akira

OVAs
Voices of a Distant Star
Little Witch Academia

I rank all of these as 8/10s or better and also consider them all fairly easy for a newcomer to get into.

Everyone likes Cowboy Bebop, although I don't know where the easiest place to get it is. I watched quite a bit of Fullmetal Alchemist too, which is definitely available to everyone on Funimation's YouTube channel. Depending on your location, you might be able to watch a lot more stuff on Funimation's channel, although I personally can't.
