Ah yes. Labor battles are always interesting plots for TV-show episodes.

I actually had the Gundam movies as part of my film studies module. I wanted to watch all three, but I didn't have time (was only required to watch the last one and spoil myself on the plot).

Your Name.

I'd give that movie a "Fantastic/10."

Bought my tickets to see Your Name in a local theatre. I've never actually seen an anime film on the big screen, so this'll be cool

Your Name actually just a relatively widespread release. If you're in the us it's worth checking to see if there's a showing by you.

Just make sure you see the sub if possible. The dub is quality funimation. Decent main charatcers but they used all of their regualr stock side character vas. Also while radwimps did do the English version of the sound track, the lyrics sound forced or are nonsense. Transliteration of songs is really hard and in this case it didn't work at all.

Eromanga-sensei, 1st episode.

...I actually like this. Surprising, considering that I hate Oreimo with passion. The character designs are really cute, and the OP is catchy too.

It's very good in theaters. Not many anime films gain as much from the theater format as Your Name, IMO. It's definitely worth the price of admission.

I've heard it can be hard to find a screening outside of a major metropolitan area. It's definitely a wider release than more niche movies like Girls und Panzer Der Film or the Kizumonogatari segments, but not quite the same as a full Hollywood blockbuster.

I thought Yumetourou had a decent English version. There are some awkward parts but at least they fit the timing and rhythm well. Not as fond of the English version of Zenzenzense. Haven't bothered to actually listen to the full version of Sparkle since it's so long and I'm not even that fond of the Japanese version. I do think it's a bit of a crime that Yumetourou didn't get a "full" version though.

I watched the first two episodes of Samurai Champloo. Basically what I expected from a spiritual successor to Cowboy Bebop: uber cool direction, fighting, and soundtrack, and some pretty funny comedic goofs.

Mahouka the show is a big meh.

Mahouka the light novel (at least the English translation) is... fucking terrible. Makes the show look like a masterpiece in comparison.
