And she reminded me to finish Studio Ghibli's adaptation of Ronia The Robber's Daughter for some reason.

Not really. It's not perfect, but it's not dead on arrival. Some of the acting is pretty wooden, and it's not quite got all it's philosophical ducks in the row, but it's well directed and is a pretty damn functional piece of Sci-Fi cinema. If you think this movie sucks, you have clearly not watched enough crap.

Honestly, what sequel could they make of Unicorn. It's already over once Laplace is opened. Of course, given it's a prequel to late UC, we all know how much worse it could get.

As for Crossbone... I don't know, maybe they just didn't want a full 4 Cour series anymore. :/

I have no idea what they could do, and they probably couldn't come up with something to make a sequel of Unicorn either.

Well here's the thing, Crossbone is rather short. Crossbone itself could work as a 12 episode series, Skull Heart and Steel 7 could be OVAs/ONAs or movies, and Ghost could be a 24-39 episode series. So there's no reason they couldn't do it, they just don't want to (For some unexplained reason).

So, I finished Psycho Pass. It's fine. It has a reasonably good plot, and the premise is fairly interesting. That said, fans of cyberpunk and/or police procedurals are unlikely to find anything new or exciting here. The heavy use of CGI for complex objects doesn't do it any favours either. Ultimately, by the concluding few episodes I'd gotten bored. I knew where it was going and just had to watch it slowly grind towards the conclusion. I think I might actually have enjoyed it more if it had stuck with the formula it had early on, and focused on several small mysteries than one big one. I didn't hate it, but I have to give Psycho Pass a 6.5/10.
