This is a fascist nation
Explanation of the flag
The characters down the side are the characters of fire, water, wood, earth, and metal. These are the 5 traditional Japanese or Chinese elements and a central part in Hashizawan religion. The large characters centered in the right of the flag are the characters to Hashizawa. The three stars outside of the central large star represent the commoners, the lords, and the emperor. The large central star represents Oichi, the current capital. Red stands for blood, white for the heavens, green stands for the earth.

It's basically about a teacher who studies the lives of "monsters". Specifically the lives of three high-school monster girls. Everyone knows that monsters are real and the teacher is studying how the girls live their lives and come to grips with their unique attributes. There's also a succubus teacher who's trying to live her life in a way that arouses as few people as possible. It's not action-packed or anything, though. From what I've seen so far, it's more of a slice of life comedy with hints of drama.

It's pretty good and I've found it to be unexpectedly endearing.

There's dullahan, vampire, yuki-onna and succubus.
And possibly incubus. Who knows.

Speaking of Gundam series, I recently got into Gundam Build Fighters, along with Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt. Otherwise, I've been rewatching Aldnoah.Zero, binge-watching Gunslinger Girl, and discovering the entertaining world of Baccano!.

Spoiler alert for GBF:

Also, I can't help but see Eastern Front parallels in Thunderbolt.

When I opened up the editing page to quote you, I accidentally saw the spoiler, too... :meh:

Anyways, I agree with your assessment of Thunderbolt; I like how it explores the war from a different perspective and in a more gritty setting. Also, the new space-oriented mobile suit designs are awesome.

I watched Roujin Z. Must find more obscure early 90's OVAs that Katsuhiro Otmomo was somehow involved in.

Just binge watched Tears to tiara and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.

Tears grew on me but I really liked Kabaneri and am looking forward to the second season.

Even though the story beats Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid episode 10 was going to take were fairly obvious from the outset, the actual content was still wonderfully unhinged.

So I'm watching Hunter x Hunter and I'm well into the Chimaera Ant Arc. Every time I see the Ant's wearing clothes I laugh. I laughed even harder when the first royal guard was hatched with clothes on. :lol2:

Y'know, I don't think I've ever heard a good reason as to why people don't like mech shows.

I mean, I know people have their own personal tastes, but the sheer amount of people refusing to watch them/hate of mech shows is just weird. Especially since the reasons people usually give are rather... shallow.

Huh.

Clearly only acceptable mecha shows are ones that embrace ridiculousness of the concept, instead of trying to somehow ground it someway.

Also lack of cybertank shows is apalling.

From my understanding, it's not confirmed it's even a season. It could be a film, or an ova series.
