How far into it are you? I haven't seen the second season yet.

So I didn't know Dragon Maid already has an Englihs dub. Just watched the first episode.

I think I prefer the sub xD

How well would you rate it? I like it from what I've seen so far, but I noticed it started to deviate from its comedy and turn more serious. For that it gets 7/10 from me.

Last I've seen was Death Note. That was in 2015.

I loved it. Also did't it already bounce such way in first season? :P
I do remember someone saying that good comedy should've drama in such way, but I can't remember proper quote or who said it.

It did in the first season, but like I said I don't know if it continues because I haven't seen the second one yet

I wonder if it's a metaphor for censorship...

Dragon Maid is rapidly approaching dropped territory for me. It's forsaking comedy for annoying ass drama bits, and this shota gag with Lucoa is several kinds of creepy.

Funnily( or not) Lucoa and Shouta weren't even in this chapter in source material.

And now I hate that episode even more.

Also I thought they'd have lot more chapters left, but apparently all currently released Dragon Maid chapters just might fit into this season.

Is that why Horn Dragon has yet to show up?

Yeah. I guess.
They want to escalate more "dramatic" chapters towards end I guess.
But there's one dragon that's not in OP or ending, so I guess there's no room quite for all the chapters. Or they're hoarding them in case they get second season.
