Cowboy Bebop..again....

The single best scene I've ever seen from that series is from its movie, Spike kicks this grocery store robber into a coffee machine and he casually pushes the button to pour scalding hot coffee all over that dude's face. Was so satisfying; can't go wrong with when Spike Judo threw this henchman over the store aisle he was hiding behind either. The melee combat is just really well done.

YES IT MATTERS. Every protagonist these days is some stick thin, anorexic looking nancy boy. Jojo actually looked different, cause their character looked like you'd expect ass-kicking badasses to look. Donut hair guy (GioGio I think is what they're calling him) has a goddamn heart shaped cleavage hole in his outfit.

The manga of VA is from the late 1990s, so it just reflects Araki's changing style, and has nothing to do with current trends in animation

Plus it's not like they still don't to bad ass stuff; believe me, they do, but the style is just different.
