The problem is that you are misrepresenting sources. Nothing in the source you linked tells of the Chinese government (CCP) banning online gaming and isn't even a trustworthy source to begin with.

In terms of Chinese animation, Quan Zhi Gao Shou / The King's Avatar is excellent, and I tried to watch The Daily Life of the Immortal King but it took me quite a while to find a halfway decent translation for the subtitles and even then I struggled to get into it.

Yeah, I'm good. I have no qualms about dropping an anime after 1 episode. I do it a lot. 77 times in fact.

I read quite a bit of TOG, think it was a year or two ago, and from what I remember it just gradually devolves into some generic shounen. Bit disappointing.

Sorry, they don't ring a bell. I only watched Strike Witches...like I said, a really long time ago, IIRC back when Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu was popular.

I saw High School Fleet. When I started it, I had pretty low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The naval combat was excellent. Didn't it get a movie or something recently?
