Last night I sampled High School DxD. I called it quits just half way through the first episode.

Finally saw Gundam Narrative after a year of it being out because movies take longer to get to the West than shows or OVA's do. Oh look, another Gundam series better than IBO.

Yes, I'm still annoyed at IBO holding the top spot for highest rated non-OVA Gundam series on a ton of anime sites.

People just whine about IBO because it was the same different to previous versions of the show. At least people watched it, which can't exactly be said for Sunrise's increasingly irrelevant fucking about in the Universal Century.

I hated it cause the cast was bland, the blonde girl never shut the fuck up, and the fights were frankly weak.

Dude, give it a chance. Like one of the top ecchi comedies out there in my opinion. I mean you name me another show where a monster fires lasers out her nipples.

When I first saw that, I laughed so hard my brother's friends heard me clearly over his X-Box headset.

Also, the ED is a total bop.

Disappointingly, Weathering With You did not click with me at all. I get Shinkai wanting to recapture what made Your Name work considering how successful that film was but it just doesn't have the charm that film did. It's pretty, but hollow.

I just finished revisiting Gundam Wing to review for my video series. It has its charms, but doesn't really hold up overall. Characters are too busy launching into tiresome tirades without actually saying anything. The MS design is decent, at least. I'm splitting my review video into two parts so I can praise elements in the first and then tear down the bad things in the second.

Just for my own watching satisfaction, I've been watching Somali and the Forest Spirit, which is just a boatload of cute, and Pet, which is bizarre, but compelling.
