Shit looks good. S2 of Konosuba is there, hope it can keep up the hilarity of S1. We're getting the Little Witch Academia TV series Trigger teased at the end of Luluco, and KyoAni is working on a show about a dragon-girl maid.

That's at least 3 shows for me to follow.

Edit:

Idol Jihen also seems like it could be the season's "so ridiculous you just have to watch it" show. I might have to keep an eye on that one.

Who else on the Hype Train for Yamato 2202? There's been a lot of staff changes, but the series director did some of the better episodes for 2199.

I'm also dreading Chaos;Child. The Chaos;Head adaptation was terrible and according to people I know who have played Chaos;Child it's not something that can be adapted easily.

Other big thing I can't wait for is Akiba's Trip. Why? Because I think it'll be hilarious to watch drunk.

Sekko Boys was the only Idol anime that I ever found worth watching.

Chaos;Child is something I have to watch, to bring closure to the pain of having watched Chaos;Head.

Rewrite S2 came pretty fast.

Aside from Konosuba, Kuzu no Honkai seems somewhat decent. The premise for Masamune-kun looks good as well.

Izetta disappointed me.
They gave this German fighter pilot a experimental new plane.
It wasn't an ME 262.

Does RWBY count as an anime?

Sorry but I'm a complete amateur when it comes to anything anime.

Just started watching RWBY tonight.

I'll advocate for the Devil and watch Xiao Qian, it's 2D animation was produced by a Japanese company, so that counts as something.

No need to be sorry. Now, if you want some real anime, look up a show called Sengoku Basara.

Nah it has to be made in Japan for it to be considered anime. At least that's the simplest definition though there's no shortage of debate about what counts as anime when western media mimic the style and/or collaborate with Japanese staff.

Regardless, RWBY is a large enough franchise that it could have it's own megathread buried somewhere in the depts of Arts & Ficiton... After searching for a bit apparently it hasn't had one.

However during my search for a RWBY thread I've found this ancient thing from 3 years ago, otherwise all other discussion related to it has been mostly limited to anime threads so it's understandable why there would be posts in the anime thread when there simply aren't any RWBY threads.

Yeah but there's often hidden treasure buried in anime. The cover art and descriptions often don't do justice to em.

I'm happy about more konosuba.

Oddly enough, that scene is even funnier in the manga

Hidan no Aria and the second season/spinoff Hidan no Aria AA. Mwah, a funny little thing in between. Nothing to be taken seriously though. Same verdict as Rail Wars! 6.0 out of 10, as the latter was also a funny little thing in between.
