I gotta say, SimCity 4 is probably my favorite game at the moment. The soundtrack, the simplistic yet charming graphics, the complexity... I'm not good at it, but boy do I enjoy it. It only took me 15 years to discover, too. Yeehaw.

I feel SimCity 4 is under-rated compared to the other SimCity games.

It's user-friendly without sacrificing the complexity of the earlier SimCity games.

This is true. I love that vid though, and reading about the city, and how it basically ended up being a totalitarian hellhole for the (numerous) citizens.

But honestly I feel as though in recent times 4 has been more popular than the other games, especially after Societies and 2013. Simtropolis is still pretty active all these years later. I only ever hear people say good of it. My only real complaint is the resolution sucks ass and I can't be bothered to fix it.
