I can't decide whether to buy BF1 or Skyrim Remastered.

Of the two, BF1, that actually justifies its own existence by being a new product.

A friend was telling me last night that the campaign - despite having five whole chapters - is something like four hours.

To be fair, it'd be a really stupid move to get BF1 just for the storyline, and I think it was intended mainly to be MP with a smaller story.

NINTENDO SWITCH!

FUCKING HELL, IS THAT SKYRIM ON A NINTENDO CONSOLE?!

It runs on cartridges like the good old classic consoles but they're the kind that you'd expect in a Nintendo 3DS.

But they must be POWERFUL if they can fit Skyrim and the new LoZ game.

The lineup for the Nintendo Switch as far as I know is Skyrim, Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Project Sonic 2017, Mario Kart Switch, Splatoon Switch, an unnamed Pokémon game (possibly) and Project Sonic 2017.

Honestly, this looks like the kind of console that can turn Nintendo around after the Wii U's failure.

Nintendo is really going into third-party and porting this time around. Looks like Dark Souls 3 is gonna be on it, too, considering From Software is on the list.

I'm personally not interested myself; The precedent set with GTA V on PC means that it's likely that RDR 2 will be afflicted with always-online DRM and a multitude of micro-transactions.

...Since when is GTA V remotely setting a precedent of "Always online DRM"? I don't remember remotely being always online on that, unless I, you know, wanted to be online.

Micro transaction thing I won't deny, though. They make it a grind fest or you can spend money on shark cards to instantly get the vehicles you want that are expensive.

Yeah, I wouldn't call these "cartridges", they're basically ROM SD cards. Old-timey cartridges were space limited as fuck, apparently some 3DS cards for games can be up to 8GB, which could hold Dark Souls 1 or 2.

Both DS 1 and 2 were 6.summat GB on the Xbox 360 and apparently, so was Skyrim.
