the same applies to basically all the bosses, really - having a meatshield to soak damage and distract them makes them a lot easier

with the potential exception of biggie smalls, who are a pain in the ass even with two people from my experience

Blame EA buying them. Their stuff before EA was great - Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights...

I know making new engines must be hard or something, but Mass Effect is Mass Effect and why use the Frostbite engine for EA Battlefront when it can have its own thing going on? Financial reasons most likely. EA's been licensing game engines such as the Unreal Engine then that changed when they released Battlefield 4.

Everyone using the same Engine would streamline development of games since it apparently only uses a single unified asset creation tool.

I don't know, I still think Dragon Age: Inquisition is the best RPG I've played. So they must be doing something right.
