Why is it I got a 20 dollar steam giftcard within 48 hours of buying a game on steam? I'm sure I'll find something else to grab, but I'm approaching finals so I don't want to get invested in another game right now.

This would be really applicable if I hadn't just got back into Worlds Adrift. Less than 48 hours after buying it I've already put a dozen hours into it. I'd have put in at least twice that if I didn't have school stuff going on this weekend.

I started playing Stardew Valley on the PS4, and I gotta say, it’s pretty fantastic. It’s also really well optimized for the system. I can’t believe it’s all made by one guy.

so you bought the starter edition. Yeah, it is a scam since grinding takes more time. Also more expensive operators.

No, I did my research and saved myself. I bought in with the Operation Chimera sale, when they made all base ops free for non-starter-ed players. Along with unlocking all attachments, I can only really view the move as an additional layer of scam in regards to the starter edition.

I got to playing State of Decay 2 today; I have to be honest, the whole homesteading thing reminds me of This War of Mine slightly, with the things you can build. I'm not sure whether it was the same in SOD 1 since I didn't play it that much.

That said, I wouldn't have got this one if it weren't on the Xbox Game Pass.
