PW is freakin' great! It's probably my least favorite MGS game I've played, but it's still really fun!
Underrated but not really hated by the fandom, I'd say.
It's also really important to the story, especially for MGSV.

In all seriousness, the best roleplaying games that I've played have either eschewed or downplayed fast-travel. Open worlds truly shine when the entirety of it is meaningful and thoroughly integrated to travel through and explore. Dragon's Dogma is a great example as the journey to a dungeon was part of the adventure, rather than just the dungeon itself.

Now... to save as many people as i can... or to cause the deaths of as many people as i can. That is the question.

Save, then try again to kill as many as people as possible.
Or the opposite first.

Its a solid game, though the aging engine hampered it a bit imo, and the illusion of choice you get with all telltale games, but its easily my favourite out of theirs.

I really enjoyed the story, i really liked the ForrestersOnekawa-Nukanor wrote:Hurdergaryp wrote:So I assume the game is not suitable for minors at all, which is as it should be.
Actually not the case. Nothing sexually explicit and the art style means blood and wounds isn't particularly revolting for a game either. But the interactions and conversations are absolutely excellent and the characters from the show feel like they should be involed with the Forresters story without seeming shoved in so they can do the whole "HEY LOOKS ITS TYRION GUYS, LOOK ITS TYRION!!! ISNT THAT AMAZING HE IS IN THE GAME".The Huskar Social Union wrote:Its a solid game, though the aging engine hampered it a bit imo, and the illusion of choice you get with all telltale games, but its easily my favourite out of theirs.
I do think the engine is suffering and Telltale needs to get on that ASAP. But even if their is an illusion of choice I'm more than happy to ride this story all the way to the end it's just so enthralling.

Sam: Died (Fucked up at the very end with the Wendigo in front of me for the last time whilst saving Mike, controller just went out of the zone and she got impaled by the Wendigo's arm
Matt: Died because i fucked up with the flare gun early on in the game, i knew he was meant to have it to save himself a bit later, but turns out just giving him right when you get it causes him to fire it off leaving it with no rounds.
And Josh became a wendigo, crazy fucker, but felt bad for him. Oh and that Stranger dude died but thats scripted, as are Hannah and Beth at the start, well... beth that is.
Fun game, and i got some different sections compared to the people i watched play on youtube, especially Achievement Hunter and got most of the clues and totems.
Might go back to it again some point down the line and try and get a full completion thing and save everyone, or kill everyone. Would like to see a sequel or something like it down the line, i digged the interactive 90s horror movie aspect to it, where you can make people not do stupid ass decisions.
