tbh if far cry could actually do long range combat well these styles of maps would be fun and interesting, but it doesn't.

or maybe playing games like arma have just ruined open-world shooters for me idk

I think I can only imagine Red Dead Redemption pulling off a Montana setting, unless Far Cry sets it up mostly in the mountains or something instead of wide, wide open spaces.

The Games with Gold is probably going to blow PS Plus out of the water next month, too.
There's Dragon Age: Origins and SpeedRunners headlining June. I mean, I'm pretty sure Assassin's Creed III and Origins are the big ones, but freakin' SpeedRunners! I'm so excited to play that.

In other news, the first Arms beta is starting on the 26th in North America, and the 27th everywhere else. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Here's hoping that it ends up being more than a party game.

Read Karen Traviss' books and you'll learn a little more than what the game told you. But then she'll leave you on a cliffhangar because some bastards at Del Rey said her books weren't a part of the Del Rey/Star Wars canon anymore...We can only wait and see if EA will make RC 2. And if they do, they better do it right, or else there'll be a revolution on a massive scale.

Disney will probably just come in and say that Delta Squad never existed.

They make a cameo in The Clone Wars but Disney will probably just retcon it as a bunch of jawas standing on each other's shoulders in clone trooper armor.

the EU deserved to be scrapped, traviss' stuff especially, particularly for singlehandedly turning the mandos into garbage - now, that's not really much of an issue in the RC books, but they still have the problem of showcasing her insistent need to screech about how "DAE JEDI ARE EVIL" for creating the clone army (nevermind that the movies state clearly that the clones belong to the Republic, which is to say the Jedi aren't remotely to blame for it beyond condoning the existence of it because it was desperate times¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Between Friday The 13th and that Last Year game, I'm kinda worried about Dead By Daylight. Feels like it's about to get some big competition.

After grinding for like, 2 hours, I was finally able to beat one of the secret bosses in NieR: Automata.
Now I'm off to the next secret boss, which requires you to upgrade every single weapon in the game to their max level.

Oh boy.

Karen Traviss does remember that Boba got his head shoved down a toilet by an ARC trooper when he was still on Kamino as a kid. According the the Legacy of the Force books, anyway...

Asari are hot, probably more advanced than any other civilization (with the help of the Protheans), and are very intelligent and can live for a very long time. No real reason why other races shouldn't mate with Asarians, except if they had Ardat-Yakshi genes and would either kill their mate or turn them in a vegetable.

The reason they shouldn't mate with the Asari is that it would destroy their own species. Asari children are not "mixed species", they are pure Asari.
