It was released on 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, on 18 November 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on 14 April 2015 for Microsoft Windows.

PC version is only 2 years old.

After finally getting to the Forest Zone in NieR: Automata, I have decided that it is the greatest game ever because of that one scene.

You know the one.

That one.

I know this is quite a significant question, so really think about your answer for this one. In your opinion who is the greatest RPG character ever? Can be the main character or an NPC.

As much awful(or merely confusing) the Oblivion's persuasion minigame, I do feel like it's logically consistent if you want have a lockpicking minigame.
Did any RPG use Surgeon Simulator minigame for use of first aid/heal skill. Clearly if there was any sort of design consistency they should.

I got my hands on the Dhar Shotgun and a Remnant beam rifle in ME: Andromeda, and they are fucking awesome. Ive also got my first planet up to 100% Viability and have a fully functioning colony there, i got my hands on the Dhar Shotgun after i assaulted the Kett Base on the Plateau near the colony, which was quite enjoyable. Im looking forward to taking on the second Kett Base ive seen on the Arctic planet ive been doing stuff on lately (cant remember how to spell the name, Vieold or something like that), its a large mountain just covered in towers and docked ships, so its bound to be some fight.

Also some more comments on the gameplay, i still like it overall, think the game is very fun, but the way you scan the planets and systems is quite tedious, i get that they were going for a more "cinematic" feel to it i guess, but damn does it get annoying with the slow zoom in on each planet every time you click on something, should be a lot quicker than it is. Also being able to revive your squad mates, but not get revived in turn by them is annoying.

Thank you for all the facisnating answers. I'd have to say that my favorite RPG character of all time has to be Jigglypuff.

I've said this before, but it bears repeating: Jigglypuff is one of the best characters ever written. I've been a gamer for nearly 20 years now and this is one of those landmarks for gaming, which establishes a new standard for characterization. Every RPG, every adventure game and every open world game's characters will be compared to Jigglypuff one day. This is the first time since Zork where I got this immersed in a character. Highest honors from IGN, the very rare perfect 10 from the smash bros Tier list (only 4 characters have ever gotten that honor), and raving reviews from virtually every single site you look at, including my personal favorite writer Hideo Kojima. Jigglypuff is one of those few characters that gets a 90%+ review rating on Smogon across both critics and user reviews, and across all platforms. Its crazy that a character this popular actually exceeds expectations.

You had to ask this question. Damn, I will need to think on it. My first instinct would be Darth Revan from Knights of the Old Republic just for the shock value of discovering that you have been the main villain all along. Making the decision to either reject or embrace that history all the more meaningful.

But I may come up with something else if I think about it.

I finally got Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. This is my first playthrough of Fates, and I'm enjoying it quite a lot so far. I don't think it's quite up to the standard of Awakening, which I really adore, but good nonetheless.

Oooh this is tough.

I think the obvious answer is Ulysses. He checks every box in terms of greatness: he's phenomenally written, deeply steeped in moral issues, and also is relevant to every other part of the plot even if you don't notice it until long after he's noticed you.

So I think in terms of the greatest RPG character ever, it goes to Ulysses without much of a fight.

Anyone else here playing Elder Scrolls: Legends?

For a free go I found the campaign to be surprisingly deep and worthwhile. Most CCG tend to have pretty shit story content and bland single player experiences, but this really impressed me.

I'd like to play more digital CCGs, but I just really hate how much they rely on other players and METAs and so on. I just want to play an dragon deck (for example) and command giant fire breathing monsters, but suddenly to not get my ass handed I have to include some +3/+5, 3 mana equipment titled "Bowz & Bandaids" with some stupid looking goblin on it plus these 32 other non thematic cards that have everything from soldiers to demons in my supposed dragon deck.
