Best Drummer?

Postby Jolthig » Mon Aug 08, 2016 9:19 pm

Who do you think the best drummer is?

My personal opinion is Igor Cavalera from Sepultura and Cavalera Conspiracy. He's a fast drummer.

I personally like Ringo Starr the best. He has a nice touch and is not as bad as people want you to think. Other drummers I like include Larry Mullen Jr., Roger Taylor (he can sing pretty well while drumming), and I guess Dave Grohl; he's pretty fast. If this was about guitarists, I might have a longer list.

Damn, I forgot about Dave Grohl.

He, alongside Dave Lombardo, to me are great drummers.

His heavy drumming is what makes Nirvana and early Foo Fighters albums great.

I like his performance in Chop Suey and B.Y.O.B.

Rotting In Vain is really good.

Ray's performance in this one just gives you a unique feel.

It's a great song. I played it over and over again when it first premiered on Octane.

Listening to it rn, and I have to say, it's pretty damn good. I'd have to say, though, that Blind is probably my favorite song by them
