Are there any fictional works that are cannon in your nation

Are there any works of fiction that are cannon in your nation? Any story that took place in your nation or any fictional universe from a book that your nation takes place in.

Pokemon exist in Nioya, for example. Also, Nioya's history was supposed to be inspired by fullmetal alchemist originally.

(in this context it's 'canon', not 'cannon'.)

Some elements of Tolkien's Silmarillion were closely matched by events in in this nation's early history, only with anthropomorphic Bears rather than with humanoids.
The Confrederated Clans (and other Confrederated Bodys) of the Free Bears of Bears Armed
(includes The Ursine NorthLands) Demonym = Bear[s]; adjective = ‘Urrsish’.
Population = just under 20 million. Economy = only Thriving. Average Life expectancy = c.60 years. If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.

Now I'm sad that I got it wrong.
