Here's my history (subject to plenty of change)

Here's an explanation. I'll explain each panel from top to bottom, from 1-8.

1. Following a successful Russian offensive and French subversion, the Hungarians decide to screw the war effort and revolt from the union.

2.The treaty deciding the region gave Hungary all the clay in Greater Hungary while leaving Austria with none.

3.Shortly after being kicked out of Russia, some reds flee to Austria and take advantage of the new republic's precarious situation.

4.The APR (Austrian PR) uses propaganda, guns and volunteers to steal Croatia and Slovakia from Hungary, as well as annex the nation of Bohemia.

5. The now Danubian Union (blue clay) invades Hungary.

6. The DU wins and annexes Hungary, but at great cost.

7. The cost of the war is too great and current government begins to crumble.

8. The Danubian Federation is established to replace the DU.
