My first contribution of 2019! Hope you all... tolerate it!

Originally I was going to make a bad joke along the lines of "all this espresso can't drown my depresso" (with the obvious choice of Brazil as my coffee provider), but it just evolved with the addition of Venezuela and others. Now it's a "happy 2019" post (or some such).

I did some experimenting with shadows on the countryballs and also attempted stylizing the floor shadows, which I've decided I don't like. I will try and do more stuff like what I did with the shadows on countryballs.

Also, I'm going to just sit down and practice drawing circles. Full stop. My countryballs have always had this weird, I dunno, wobbliness to them, especially visible in their outlines and eyes, which I want to get rid of because it's annoying as all get out.

I just noticed I forgot the emblem on Los Ricos, and I was gonna add it. Oh well, I can just add it quickly.

ALSO-also, Demirestad, I love those little pixel countryballs! Can I request one made for Los Ricos, winking with the right eye? If you could animate it doing the winking motion that'd also be great, but it doesn't have to be animated. Thanks in advance!

i need to get a rant out of my system, about paint 3d.

JESUS CHRIST LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF TIME I SPENT ON AN IMAGE THAT CRASHED PAINT 3D. AN HOUR AND A HALF. THAT'S GONE, ALL WASTED, BECAUSE THAT MASTERPIECE I MADE JUST DIDN'T F!CKING SAVE!

IT WAS ALL A JOKE ABOUT THE GIF MADE FOR AUSTRALIA-HUNGARY HERE, ABOUT THAT MAGNIFICENT NEW FLAG UP THERE IN THAT GIF.
IT HAD IT ALL, STORY, REFERENCES, A BAD JOKE, AND IT'S WASTED MY TIME.
IT WAS THE FIRST DRAWING I HAD DONE WITH MY NEW DRAWING PAD AS WELL, I SLAVED OVER MY COMPUTER, DRAWING PIXEL BY PIXEL, ONLY FOR THE CRASH TO HAPPEN WHEN I TRIED TO SAVE THE BLOODYDAMN YELLOW THAT WAS USED IN THE GIF

Wow! That's pretty dang good for a first-timer. It's a bit rough, but you're already way ahead of me when I started.

Also how I make them? Trade secret I shall not into tellings. Just kidding see the spoiler below

I actually use two programs for this, Paint.net for making the frames (Because I am more comfortable in that software) and Photoshop Elements 12. I have created myself lovely template for me to use where I already have a 30 Pixel by 30 Pixel Circle layed out for me to use on Paint.net, then all I do is make the flag in the ball, duplicate it two times, select half of the ball, on the first duplication move the half down 1 Pixel, then the other duplication down 2 Pixels. After that I get my already created expressions, duplicate three to use on each frame, keep one in original position, one moved down 1 Pixel for frame 2, one moved down 2 Pixels for frame 3, then I merge the expression layers onto the bodies. After that I copy the first frame, pull up Photoshop, make a blank canvas that is 32x32 Pixels, Copy first frame, then second frame, then third frame, then I duplicate the second frame and put it after the third, I use the magic wand to get rid of the white behind the frames, then I delete the background, then I go into File, Save for Web, then I select the Animate tik-box, make the transition time 0.5 Seconds then save as a .gif. Boom that is it, very simple.
