These are brilliant, and sadly reflect how a lot of people act in this game (and many others). The Red tails one especially is awesome.

All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

Or maybe controller players can turn the assist off for competitive play.
You guys need to stop complaining about consoles/controllers/ports to consoles so much.

so players with a controller getting to cheat isn't a worry because it can be turned off
never mind that anyone not forced to probably won't, given that the article notes that people are using controllers on PC specifically to take advantage of the aim assist
:^)
and no, it's too fun

Oh, liar!
In all seriousness, they're not too bad post-laser weapons, when you can reliably two shot them and often one shot them. It's the early stages where they're horrible; you may need three shots to kill one, and a single stray can turn a terror mission into a disaster.
And they're about to get a hell of a lot worse.

For whatever reason, I remember my first run in a base where Chryssalids were plentiful went off without a hitch.
But then the next time I went through the same base in XCOM: EU my party got fucking wiped.
I honestly don't know how to deal with the bastards.
It isn't that the guns are weak... I remember having guns in the first run.
Maybe it's because I played on a lower difficulty the first time around?
I honestly don't know.
The game is, frankly, way too random at times.
I get that in real life skill won't always save you... But, well, this is a game. Of skill, strategy, etc.
