Awesome game regardless.

I know. I'm playing it right now.

Unit selection is very awkward (as it seems I have to press them a few times for it to select) and I feel that units just randomly decide they don't want to follow your orders.

It has some path finding issues with some of the vehicles when clustered with infantry ive found, but other than that i dont have much issues with the units moving around or following orders.

Shoot the things that are really there!!! is about as gimmicky as VR can possibly get, and shoot-the-thing gameplay, especially with zombies, is tiiiiirreeedddddd.

VR's true application in horror is surely a way of enhancing the use of psychological tricks and methods to immerse and increase the "horror" element of a "puzzle" or survival game.

Reminds me of the last time i went to one of those arcade horror games.
Now i'm not saying i'm a tough guy in fact i figure lots of shit scares the shit out of me. But the last time i went for a horror arcade it was gimmicky with seat vibrators and claiming to read your heart rate and using it as your health....i lost my fucks quicker than the first horde shootout.

That all being said it would be awesome to play L4D in VR but it probably wouldn't be too horrifying.

For sure there is some less than great content out there, and people can be overly optimistic about the games, but when something really nails it it, it's just awesome.

Yes. I change my flag, like, every few days.

"Covert Ops"

That's why I have a giant MEC burning snappily dressed men with a flamethrower, while a bunch of genetically modified people with plasma weapons and an inability to wear sleeves gun them down.

Very subtle.

I hate how addictive in game gambling mechanics are. I got free in game currency for NBA2K16, and spent it all on the "packs" system. I got a diamond rated Damian Lillard out of it, but still, that's often used to extract real money out of 14 year olds, with much less success

I swear Nolan North has like three different roles in World in Conflict.

One as a Norwegian army captain, through you can still hear his American accent, the other as a mid-level National guard paymaster type person and some young guy that must be an assistant to the Pentagon command staff. As he calls Sawyer back to duty and tells him he's leading a raid in Russia, yet looks about mid 30's.

It's such a dead-on dark parody of modern military shooters.
And forces you to explore themes that these sorts of games would rather shy away from.

I'd argue the WP scene is far more impacting than MW2's infamous No Russian scene, which is so boring and drab (and fails to challenge any part of you) that it falls flat and rolls around to just being cathartic.
Especially with the touch that the departure board slowly flips down all entries to "cancelled". In context, that makes the scene funny.

If the game was based solely around infiltrating Makarovs cell as a CIA agent, maybe that mission would of worked.

Does ARMA sort of have to be played with a clan (or otherwise big group of personal friends that I don't have) to be worthwhile?

I keep watching Womble's vids and... that's something I'd really like to get into.

For the multiplayer aspects, yes.

You can definitely find a lot of replayability through making your own single player scenario/battles, though.

Does anybody have an idea as to why I don't have the install application for the Fallout doomsday mod for darkest hour in the files for the fallout doomsday mod?
As in, it's not in the file folder, and I checked the entire thing.
I have the uninstall option.
I am not sure if that question makes sense.
