Started playing Darkest Dungeon again now that is been fully released, its painful, but so satisfying when you emerge victorious. Thats the first boss down, and i almost bailed out on it as my party had taken some serious hits prior to the fight with him and were on low health, but thanks to my Occulist i was able to just keep bringing him to the front after he summoned his skeletons and had my two crusaders constantly wailing on him until he died.
Ser Robin though, he was annoying me, bastard became selfish and would not stop with the damn passing of turns and insults, was almost tempted to let him die but kept him in the end, and he landed the final blow.

I went to go fight the necromancer but I got whacked with some Caretaker? or something along the likes.
I'd go to hit the guy and he'd summon like 3 minions and then go to the backline. That's normally EXTREMELY good for me since I'd just stack blight and he'd be dead in a few turns BUT he had these ghost men at arms guys that "guarded" him and would take the hits I'd throw at him instead.
Then he had a ghost that was a highway man and he hit like 4 crits.

Never seen that, there is a caretaker who is this random sod in the hamlet to sits there and occupies some spots in the various buildings each time like a prick. But that is the only boss ive ever fought in the game, im almost at my second one though, about half way to the first boss of the weald.
Speaking of that dreaded fungus bullshit place, i lost an entire squad which got wiped out there, a very good man at arms, my best occultist (the same one who helped kill the necromancer), an abomination and a bounty hunter.
So ive lost five in total now, cant remember who the other one was, think it was a vestal who died in the ruins.

My team, which was originally 5 people, then 4, then 3, then 2, were tied with the enemy team (4).
Overtime number 3 happened, and...
the enemies did the least gentlemanly thing you can do. They rushed outside and killed both of us.

At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

Took a really long time, that's certain.
It's not as if you were going to use that time for something else than gaming.
