Spiritus Presents: The Spiritus Top 50

The summer of 2014 marked the first edition of the Spiritus Top 50. All people in spiritus were asked to vote for their favourite songs. A few week later we aired the top 50 on grooveshark. In the end “These boots were made for walking” by Nancy Sinatra took the first place with Rick Astley’s “Never gonna give you up” becoming a close second.

This year we’re changing things up a bit! On the 1st of January Spiritus will be presenting the Spiritus 2015 top 50. What's changed you might say? Well this time we'll be opening the polls for all of NS, not just for Spiritans.

Now how does that work? Well you just fill in the form below and telegram it to Spiritus Top 50.
To make it easy for ourselves we’d like you to send us the songs in the format Performer – Title, this way we can rule out mistakes (For example Good Riddance is both a band and a song by Green Day).

Also if you’d like to include a reason why you voted for that particular song, we’d love to know and who knows maybe we’ll mention you and your story in the results.

We'll be closing the ballots on Christmas day 20pm GMT that way we have plenty of time to compose the perfect playlist by the start of 2016

FAQ
- Can i vote for any song? Yes but we since are expecting a lot of votes it might be wise to vote for some more popular songs or to work together to make sure a song gets in the top 50
- Why are you guys coming with this now? It’s november! In a few words, to give you guys more time to vote. A lot of people on NS are really busy IRL and we want a lot of people to vote.
- Why do I need to give points? If we just let you shout a couple of songs we’ll have a lot of songs with the same amount of votes, we hope to avoid this with the eurovision system.
- Can I change my vote? We would love to let everyone do that but we want to keep the list correct and if we change a ton of votes we might make mistakes here and there.
- Can I advertise for my favorite song? Of course you can!

We sure hope to receive all of your favorite songs!!

Thanks for participating!

I'm glad to say that at least i know a song of that list :p

Also if anyone has a link to those COE songs that would be great, we are planning on actually making a playlist, maybe even talk all the songs together and air that on the interweb. Therefor we do need the songs though.

Please telegram it to me and we will add it to the list.
