Well, yeah. Vault Boy is a 2D cartoon character, not a 3D CGI character and the engine's limitations don't allow for an accurate recreation of him.
Not talking about the HUD, I'm talking about the color pallet. Lots of yellow.
Same could be said for Fallout 3, lots of green.
Honestly, I find the yellow more pleasing to the eye than the green. At least it makes sense, NV is in the desert.
Yes, the first person view looks, zoomed in and something just makes me feel nauseous looking at it.
I really don't know what you mean by that, but alright. You could always play in third-person.
Back in the Saddle and By a Campfire on the Trail by comparison don't take you to many places, and it all felt off.
How did it feel off? It felt more realistic to me, IMO. The point of a tutorial isn't to take you places, either.
And you don't even have to do either of those quests, they're completely optional. You can skip them or fail them without repercussions. They're really only there for new players, otherwise they're not worth anything but some XP and a few minor, low-level rewards not worth mentioning.
Saw the control for it, yet it doesn't exist.
I don't know what to tell you. You can walk or you can run, but you can't sprint.
Ok. But compared to how adorkable Travis is or how energetic Three Dog is, Mr. New Vegas just doesn't come across as interesting as the other two.
Well Mr. New Vegas is meant to sound like a more professional radio host, he comes across as suave and charming to me but that's just me. A "gentleman", like Trudy says.
He's also an A.I., so it's how he's programmed.
I see how it fits, and it does fit, just that my dislike of the genre may get in the way.
I'll try more with the radio later.
I understand. I hate Country music myself, but as far as Country goes New Vegas has some of the better side of Country music.
Still, I hardly listen to the radio anyway. There are mods that add on to the radio if you're interested in them, there are even a few for a custom radio station with your own music to listen to.
