More or less because I didn't follow the Freedom Trail
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

Frankly the Institute is the shittiest. They're spending all their effort on fetching abraxo cleaner to get their interior to shine pearly white instead of building some powerful ordinance. Synths are nice but that's all they are.

Did you ever stop to ask why?

The Institute had already "won" by the events of Fallout 4. If the LW does nothing to harm them, they could and would have continued indefinitely in their current purpose, as they had essentially no potential threats.
Polishing the floors and building cool robots was more or less all they needed to do, as simply sustaining themselves was enough to ensure their "victory."

That was intentional. You can even tell one of the designers in the Institute that it was really easy to kill him. He'll tell you that it was more than likely defective and that he'll have to start a full diagnostic of every unit.

On the contrary, they react with disbelief at first. It's extremely fucking likely they said that because they really aren't as good as everyone lets on.

It's not like the other three coursers I took down were any harder. They were actually easier.

Synth Curie. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

BUT SO MANY XP.

Synth Curie gives more than XP. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Transferring information from disorganized notes into presentable factbooks is way too time consuming for a procrastinator. Just ask if you have questions.

"You come off as the type of person who rapidly clicks through dialogue and refuses to do any kind of reading or in-game research, only to complain about how stuff wasn't well developed or written good enough. The fact that you think that the Institute is the "morally good" choice and your entire synopsis of the Railroad is "boring" confirms this."

I listened to every dialogue i could (except for the ones that i either accidentally skipped or had a cat jump onto my keyboard and/or mouse)
and i watched the facial expressions, even had subtitles on. I researched the game for quite some time learning a bit more about what the hell i was doing. Even then it was complicated to get much from it.

And if i didn't do any research about anything in a game I'm currently playing or have played, I would not know much about the elderscrolls or the witcher lore, now would I?

The institute has many flaws, yes
and i disagree with them making the synths "slaves"
but you've got to relise the reason we'd make robots with feelings be slaves:
BECAUSE WE DONT WANT TO DO THINGS OURSELVES
or
WE VALUE HUMAN LIFE

as humans, we like to have something do somethings for us
we like to be lazy
EVERY SINGLE PERSON is lazy in some regard.

If you did any INSTITUTE quests or read on institute lore
they're trying to better society with their synths. Again, they value human life.

Why do you think they sent gen 1 and 2 synths at you? They dont want people getting killed.

Coming to conclusions I'd have to say you didn't do all of the questlines
did you?

Or your capability of understanding themes, subtlety and motives are juvenile at best.

"INSTITOOTS GOOD CUZ HUMANS ARE LAZY AND SLAVERY IS A COOL RESOLUTION xDDDDDD"

But yes, please do try that "no u" shit after you've been called out on trying too hard.

"Won" is a big word. They just hadn't ever been in a proper confrontation.

For a bunch of genius scientists their predictive thinking was really really poor, or they were just really really arrogant.
