Hey the laser musket isn't total rubbish. I got an effective freeze, scatter-shot musket from a raider and it was fairly decent, better than the stock lasrifle I had on me at least.

So i just completed the main story with the Brotherhood of Steel.

An Awesome final push towards the Institute alongside Liberty Prime (it was also awesome to see him again) and a great battle inside the institute. Saddened me a little though that i left my son to die in his bed, but i didnt leave empty handed and took the Synth child called Shaun out with me, was not leaving him behind, and if Maxson has an issue with it he can do one.

But yeah thats it then, the institute goes out in a fiery death, and the Brotherhood now stands as the dominant force in the commonwealth but not without its bad moments, the railroad was also put to the sword (sorry about that guys, liked you lot) and i had to execute Paladin Danse when it was revealed he was a Synth (though i didnt want to, he did not give me much choice in the end)

Imo the Institute could not be trusted to save humanity, too many dodgy experiments, killings and kidnappings, the fuckers brought FEV back and everything which was the final nail in the coffin for them in my view. So naturally next character im siding with them i guess to battle against the BOS and see how things differ.

Going to be now so i might mention some more things tomorrow.

Just get the overseers guardian and mod it to fire .308.

Pretty sure you can instakill an enemy with a Fat Man by shooting the loaded mini nuke before it launches.

Laser musket is literally OP when its fully decked out. At about 3-4 crank you one shot most raiders and everything else.

Six-crank is like, fucking keks.

Then you get all the damage perks.

About to embark on my journey into the Glowing Sea. I'll be taking my BoS T60c Power Armour with me, but I'll need to lead it the fuck up, first. I'll also be wearing my Hazmat suit constantly. I have a metric fuckton of Rad-Away and Rad-X stored up since I don't usually use it too often, about thirty of Rad-Away and about fifty Rad-X stored. I'm bringing Valentine with me because I'm lazy and I don't want to bother equipping another follower with radiation protection.

As for Weapons, I'm going to be travelling light, storing the majority of my weaponry back at my old home in Sanctuary. I'll be taking a Minigun, my Fat Man, my trusty Sniper Rifle, Ripper as a sidearm. Since I don't really know what to expect to face there, does anybody have any suggestions as to what else I should bring?

I'd recommend bringing some sort of shotgun, preferably with a decent rate of fire. I went in yesterday, and was almost immediately mobbed by a deathclaw (that I sniped first), like half a dozen bloodbugs, and a radscorpion variant with a skull next to it. The minigun did good against the deathclaw, but the shotgun is what really saved my ass.
