The Campaign Trail Game

Postby Kelinfort » Fri Nov 06, 2015 3:19 pm

Earlier this year, I made a thread about a little known political game called The Campaign Trail, in which you run for president in one of four elections. I got back to playing this game because the dev's released a 2000 election scenario and reinvigorated my interest.

Post your games here and discuss your wins and losses!

I like this game, but I got crushed as Gore.

I hope they had some more historical elections. 2008 would be nice. Either of Lincoln's elections too. And 2016, once its over.

"Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we began by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes" When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and Catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty -- to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy." - President Abraham Lincoln.
