Well both are free but the rock science packs cost but they give you a free one for special events. So yeah both are worth a go. Unless you hate instrumentals.

I was talking about the game. Seems fun. At university there was an actual "metal club" that I was the "Loremaster" of.

It's free and after you finish the tutorial you get a free pack, so choose wisely. I recommend the Extreme Metal pack because they include easy ass Pantera and Slayer questions for some reason. Also it's a bit of a blend between the Death and Black packs. Right now they're giving out a free halloween pack.

Well when you think about it, Pantera and Slayer are on the fairly extreme side of "common knowledge" metal bands.

This game has bands i've never even heard of so it is kinda surprising.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but I'm not into Pantera or Slayer enough to know what is "common knowledge" about them. Other than that Gary Holt hates the Kardashians and Dimebag Darrell got shot.

In this case "common knowledge" means that your average random person quite likely has heard about those two bands.

Ah, well, I also know that Slayer is pretty much the sole reason death metal exists and nobody is allowed to like Pantera anymore.

I meant for fans of metal. We all know who Slayer and Pantera are even if we don't like them, because they still made that impact.

Do you even Possessed, Venom, and Celtic Frost?

And no, the reason nobody is allowed to like Pantera anymore is the slew of bands who thought tuning their guitar lower just for the sake of using ONLY the lowest sounds possible was cool, thus giving Pantera a bad name for inspiring nu-metal and metalcore.

We can all agree that Chuck Schuldiner is the father of Death Metal, and Slayers was certainly among his influences but there were so many others that to say Slayer is the sole reason for death metal is ignorant.

And I personally never acknowledged that Pantera inspired any of that, so I'm still allowed to like them, I am exception :p

Chuck is the god of consistency. And we have the same birthday.

I acknowledge but still love Pantera. Maybe because I'm not a stickler and actually like some core when it has more to owe metal itself.

Score list of metal radio's of GTA series is a short one. There's only one 100% metal radio, the other one has tons of rock mixed in. This other one is V-Rock. I'll give it 9.4/10. Highlights are obvious: You've Got Another Thing Comin', Peace Sells, Raining Blood, Cum on Feel the Noize and 2 Minutes to Midnight. Personal pick: Working for the Weekend.

L.C.H.C. score coming up later.

GTA always has the best soundtracks.

Though it could definitely use more metal.
