1% are bands like Evile and Havok
2% are the unsung thrash titans
2% are not thrash bands but have quality thrash albums
3% are thrashaholics

Just like every time I playfully and sarcastically elbow your ribs, you take it 100% seriously.

But 90% of any metal subgenre is dull and composed of bands that will never make it past playing in bars to 5 people that actually give a shit, and they will probably forget about the band in as many days.

New In Flames song is as dull and disappointing as you would expect. The first minute actually gives a lot of hope but it completely fucks itself over with the rest of the song.

I'm going to get hate for saying this but in much of the 2000s, metalcore (or at least the super popular branch i.e. Bring Me The Horizon and Bullet For My Valentine) was the classic rock of that decade.
