I thought Mark Gatiss was going to take over after Moffat left, but maybe he'll replace Chibnall instead.

My only issue with Gatiss running the show is that whenever he's in charge the end result tends to look too much like Sherlock.

My Dad thought it might be too dark for the "family drama"/"general audiences" appeal Doctor Who usually goes for. But we've had times where the show is darker in tone and Lighter in tone. It can even vary from story to story or just in different aspects of the show. Heck, just seeing Whittaker's Doctor in a story under Gatiss' pen would be interesting.

That Reminds me that I want to watch TW Series 1-3 One Day. I got partway through Series 1 but things kept distracting me and I forgot about it for a while.

The only torchwood series i watched was children of earth and i dont think i finished it. But it was really good.

Big Finish's Torchwood Audios are A+ and well worth a listen. They've had Jack, Tosh, Owen, Ianto, Suzie, Yvonne, Andy, Gwen, Rhys, Martha, Margaret the Slitheen, Billis Manger, Even throwing in Jo Jones, the 10th Doctor, Captain John Hart, The Fendahl, the Autons, the Giant Maggots, The War Machines. I honestly think the only major torchwood person they haven't got back is Raj from Torchwood one.

I just watched School Reunion again today, and was reminded of how good it was. The drama, the character interactions, the villains and the reintroduction of Sarah Jane and K9 make it a classic episode of NuWho.

Also, Bob from Prehistoric Park (Rod Arthur) has a small role as the history teacher in the episode.
