So it at least didn't have ham-fisted social commentary standing in for an actual plot?

So that most likely means yes. Poor lady. First female Doctor and she had the bad luck to come along when the most ass show-runner ever took over.

A good/decent actor can be ruined by a bad or misguided director and script.

Honestly, I've seen her in other stuff, and she's not that good.
If Chibnall had to draw from the Broadchurch pool, why couldn't we have got Olivia Coleman as the Doctor?

Sad to see them split up as i quite liked Graham, but those final few scenes with him and Ryan were pretty good in my opinion. Be interesting to see what Yaz and the Doctor get up to in her last season.

Richardson is such a prick but i like the actor who plays him, really good at making you hate him lol

Wish we got to see more of the Daleks fighting one another, but it was still a good shout to bring in the enforcers to wipe out the "Impure" Daleks.

I agree with you. They could’ve done at least another part with more fighting between the Daleks.

I'm not buying any of the names I hear floating around this time, because if I remember correctly I don't think I even heard Jodie's name before the announcement. Though I'll admit of the names I did hear speculated, Tilda Swinton was my favorite.

Yeah, but the prognosticators seem dead-set on him getting the job. I remember he was top of the rumor mill when Capaldi was on the way out too.
