The first was good too, but I think the sequel was better min a lot of ways. As for snowpiercer, my favorite scene has to be the axe battle scene with all the creepy fuckers in masks. If I was in charge of my own brutal totalitarian hellhole, that's what my secret police force would look like

There is, it is called a Proletarian Dictatorship (named after the Dictature of the Proletariate).

It can be formed by the Communists only. Funnily enough, as a Proletarian Dictatorship, you can do less than in a fascist one (historically, the proletarian one was more totalitarian), but if I understand it correctly, that is for game reasons, so communists won't reject social reforms.

As Russia, I managed to make 20% of my population Communist before they gained power. After they gained it, that number increased to the masses were 40% more indoctrinated, and if the socialists were added, that became 70%.

In another game, as Argentinia, I managed to indoctrinate my population up to 25% fascist (thanks, national focus+poor economics + revanchism) - but yet, I did not manage to conquer Las Malvinas. Fascism also didn't rise after trying to do that and becoming a Fascist Dictatorship. It seems Fascism is harder to increase than communism...

Anyways, I managed to turn around that Ironman Cornwall game and I now control all of Mercia. Next target: Bretony.

That shouldn't stop you. The armies of France are almighty. Plus, you got Spain on your side. To war before they become more powerful because, eventually, they'll become a pain in your ass.
