I don't think I've ever had the AI form Italy in one of my games before.

Oh yeah, I can form Scandinavia...kinda forgot about that.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

Also, regarding my last post on the previous page (asking for help);

Other info; Constantinople now has like 500 thousand people. Hooray. The biggest city by far.
Pro: tolerance, individualism, technocratism, democratism, freedom, freedom of speech and moderate religious expression, the ban on hate speech, constitutional monarchism, the Rhine model
Against: intolerance, radicalism, strong discrimination, populism, fascism, nazism, communism, totalitarianism, authoritarianism, absolutarianism, fundamentalism, strong religious expression, strong nationalism, police states

If you like philosophy, then here you can see what your own philosophical alignements are.

Georgia in my Castile game just annexed Shirvan and Gaz-whatever. Good for them. If I weren't dedicated to this ironman, I might switch over to them and see what I could do to create a Most Glorious Georgian Empire.

Question on previous page of me was:

Herargon wrote:I'm playing as Byzantium and have taken Turkey and Asia Minor, plus Judea, and including my own Greek territories, by 1460 already. The question is now; how will I be able to conquer the rest of the Roman Empire?

It's EU3, by the way, Death & Taxes Mod.

If you guys want to, I could provide a map to provide better oversight.

Also, technology is a bit behind. Mmh...
Most provinces are Orthodox now. Want to get a PU over Naples or France but that is so hard. There's literally a 0.0000001% chance, I think...

Soo, what should I do now?

I say conquer Roman Africa first and then unleash yourself onto Europe.

That's the problem. I want to conquer Egypt as well, but they are allied with almost every North African state. My army is strong, but that strong... and besides, my technology is rather poor.

Maybe I'm too used to CK2 but the Mamluke's allies seem like they'd have to travel a ways before they can reinforce Egypt.

Mmhm. That's right. If they weren't to use ships. Maybe I should increase my naval fleet then... I do have a mission to expand my fleet, anyways. If that mission gets away, maybe I'll get a conquering mission.

Hopefully. At the moment, the Mamluks are at war with both Sweden and Iraq, and my three allies - Ethiopia, Wallachia and Muscovy - seem keen to joining the war with me if it were to happen.

There were attempts to unify during the EU4 timeline, I think.

Actually, it's ~580,000 now in my game. I said it was 500,000. That was rounded down. My bad

But considering I started in 1339 or something like that (back then the population was like 200k?), so I made a great feat. I'm planning on having it be a city of 1 million by 1600.

1339?!

M8, you did it. If you are ERE, you have made the Phoenix rise from the ashes. When the ERE took it back after the Latin Empire, the city had under 75,000 inhabitants.

Heh, yeah. The population growth there is crazy; swinging between 5 and 10%, depending on National Focus.

Although I cannot yet restore the Roman Empire (Italy is protected by France and their tech is much better than mine), the Balkans are ripe for conquest, as is Egypt and Northern Africa.
I'll just have to be patient and enlargen my army and navy, modernise it, and then the world shall tremble and bow before the mighty Roman Phoenix!

So I have a question about converting a game to HoI3.
How does it work exactly? All the previous games are about time periods while HoI is about a specific conflict.
Sooo what exactly happens in a converted HoI game? Are the factions still there and everything?

Korean North China and Ayutthaya? Nice

Please do show Europe as well. It looks interesting with that Commonwealth blob in Turkey and Trebizond ruling the steppes.

EDIT: Also, Sweden.

The game ended pretty standard with nothing really standing out, imo, which is why I wasn't planning on sharing it. The best thing in that screenshot are the pretty and organized colors of occupied Spain. The most interesting European nuance of this game happened far earlier in the game. Forget about what's actually happening in that screenshot, the real focus is the interesting reversal of power that occurred via a random PU that led to that nation's height in the first place.
