My Victoria II game just got weirder.

A. I noticed the Ottomans lost their war against Tripoli... that is just sad.
B. Apparently, Yucatan is an "American" nation and petitioned for annexation to the US. They accepted. The closest port America has to Yucatan is New Jersey. Yucatan's main culture is Mayan. No comment.
C. Despite me having Piedmont, Lombardia, Venetia, etc, Italy still likes me over Russia even though Russia has never been at war with Italy before. Italy is currently at -124 opinion and still supported me in a crisis war against France and Russia.
D. France has conquered Korea before Japan, who is railroaded to conquer Korea.

The Confederate States of America have half the industry of Mexico and are currently getting beaten up by Mexico which has 1/3 of the techs the Confederacy has.

And the Confederacy beat the US .

Well, er, my invasion of China in HOI3 has gone rather well. Shanxi fell within a month, Commies are staying out as are the other cliques. But heh my divisions are all over the place. Gotta give the Kuomingtang credit, they managed to fuck up my organization through well aimed counter attacks. Front has stabilized more or less now and it is October. I think I'll try opening up a second front line by invading someplace more to the South closer to Taiwan. Draw some units away from the front up North. Will slowly reorganize my troops and settle in for the upcoming winter. Or perhaps initiate an offensive in Jan *shrug*. Early spring '38 though seems the most likely when I shall resume offensives up north. In between, probably just occasionally send some tactical bombers and CAS to harass Chinese units. Will probably also invade the Commies in '38. Just to make sure they're out of the way.

Protip: Southeastern China is mostly tropical jungle and experiences very little in the way of winter. It's the northern and southwestern sections that get kinda rough.

Pushing south in the Winter and then back north in the Summer is a legitimate strategy. Also remember that the northwest is all desert and thus the time of year you invade really doesn't matter.

Mhm, that's what I think I'll. Especially since it'll take time to fix the cluster fuck that is my northern front. Got two corps of garrison divisions though for it. Along with an extra Corps led by Tojo that should be enough to take care of the Maoists.

Luckily, I have two corps of Marines already just need to give them some a division of light armour or something and move some wings to Taiwan and I should be set to go.

So i reverted ck2 to the last patch to have a look at my old Warhammer Gheims-... (no im not saying it) game and this was the situation:

-Two holy wars against chaos tribes in Norsca, four revolts (later became 7 revolts after a few minutes, then when they ended more and more appeared).
-A distant relative who was a high elf
-A dead elven bastard child whose mother is the Queen of the Wood Elves
-A dead elven bastard child from my son whose mother is the queen of the wood elves
-A sigmar worshipping female wood elf lover of my current character (i see a recurring interest in the family line here)
-Vlad Von Carstein still lives due to that damn ring of his, but the rest of his line is dead
-Ulrican and Taalite faiths almost wiped out due to being heresies

Such is life in the Empire.

Also invaded the dwarfs and took Black fire pass, i united Bretonnia, the Empire and Kislev under my rule, soon the Border Princes will also be under my control (also Strigoi vampires, Strigoi vampires everywhere down there)
