An easy win blown by not getting Elder

And the prize of the night, this fucking game. You would think Ashe is the issue. But no, it was that fucking Teemo. Who got a hair up his ass about not getting a gank, so he babyraged into the jungle, refused to group, let Nasus freefarm top and was a general fuckface. I started the night with 86 LP. I'm now down to 6. I fucking hate ranked.

Sounds absolutely positively dreadful.

I cannot begin to imagine the agony of all these games back to back.

I think the Ranked mode causes too much pain and suffering. This is one of the reasons I've moved away from Ranked. I have a complete fear/terror of losing LPs; the whole mode psychs me out.

Perkz has confirmed he is leaving G2, and I am quite saddened by it. He was the core of that team, my favourite team, for so long that the two were inseparable in my mind, like Faker and SKT or Bjergsen and TSM. In terms of impact on the game, I consider him the greatest Western player - not just for his trophies, but for the talent he showed at gathering and leading a monstrously dominant team that forced adaptation from the very best, his individual overperformance in so many vital games, the courage to switch roles and the skill and ingenuity to - for a time - reshape how players all over the world viewed and played the role he had moved to.
As a G2 fan I will miss him, but as a Perkz fan, I highly doubt he is finished.

It's definitely a shame to see so many good players leave the LEC for the NA retirement home, but on the other hand, I'm excited to see what new rookies rise to the top.

Are these new champs really making the game better?

I understand Riot does what it thinks will keep the player base and expand it but objectively, it seems to create more balance nightmare, more mobility and damage creep, and more Intimidation Factor for potential new players (“what? I have to know what 150+ champs do to be “good” at the game? I’m out).

I can’t see anyone going, “wow this game just created a new champion in the form of a woman on a horse- like thing with a lance... I’m go to play this/go back to playing this now”

Or maybe I’m just a bit jaded

I love the concept actually, though it is a little silly. What I do not understand though is what their darned hurry is. Seraphine, Samira, Rell, heck, Lillia was not that long ago - recent enough to shake things up at Worlds (though not as much as the analysts expected). On top of that they have studios working on Wild Rift and Ruined King, and at the foundations, the base game itself is still in relative turmoil. Why are they throwing out so many new things at once? At the end of this year they will have released 6 new champions in it, the most since 2013 (though 2016 tied). They will have also given proper reworks to 2 champions (3 if you include Wukong). Perhaps this is just me, but I would greatly prefer more of the latter than the former if they feel they have to keep releasing things regularly. Overall though, I think they really need to take a breath and stop laying their road ahead long enough to deal with the pot-holes in the stretch behind.

I’ve been spamming him a lot. He seems a lot more 1-shotty and mobile. Once you have 1-2 items it’s like some Star Wars tech is going off every time you cast a spell after X seconds.
