IM, curious as to why your Sona page has AD on it.

Hmmm... I rarely ever play her. I pretty much only play with my AP and ADC rune pages now. I think I accidentally left the page still there.

The last time I tried playing Sona in the lane with my brother it was an absolute disaster. The enemy laner had a Teemo and they destroyed us because I was that out of practice with her...

Recently, I'm playing a lot with my brother.

He recently graduated and had a birthday and so I gifted him a Dunkmaster Darius.

Now he goes Darius top and I go Vlad mid. And in team fights its the ultimate troll combination. The enemy has no idea who to focus. If they go for Vlad then I stall with my Pool while Darius builds stacks and starts executing the whole team. If they focus Darius then I deal a ton of sustained damage.

Plenty of people have raged against the combo...

I support Dynamic Q. It makes more sense, this is a team game... climbing and falling as a team you regularly play and train with should be promoted and rewarded.

My experience with Solo Q has been overwhelmingly negative...

I agree. Solo queue was awful. It was disgusting and occasionally meant deciding upon which friend you wanted to play with. Part of dynamic queue is the ability to chose two roles you would want to play, but if you play with more people than you may be able to get what you want to play no matter what. The more likely you are to be on a comfortable role, the more likely you are to succeed. People arguing that it is completely unfair for a five man to go up against let's say two duos and one solo are not necessarily right. If there is no or little additional coordination than you would find in what was solo queue and teams are not taking advantage of the possibility of maybe having a skype, curse chat or whatever - which I do not do and was possible with solo queue as well - then there is not much of a point. The winrates are slightly skewed at the moment, but for the comfort that dynamic queue brings and the efforts to fix it that Riot is making, I would say it is well worth it.

This "Your Shop" was well timed. I'd been planning on dropping some money on LoL, but with this I managed to drop a tenner and get 4 skins and a champ rather than just the one or two I would have got otherwise.

Well I just had a wtf moment. I was playing Sona and the enemy team had a Zed. So, I hear a Zed ult so I auto-Zhonya's, but it turns out he used it on the Jhin next to me. So, the Jhin dies and then starts flaming me. He would have died regardless - I did not have ult - and the game was lost at this point, however, the really wtf part of that, is that it was Poro King. Like, why flame?

I think its time to watch some streams on how to play the new Annie because she just feels very... different (the whole Flash Tibbers combo seems a lot sloppier than before).

Didn't seem that different when I played her last.

The thing is, ever since the Rework, her Tibbers AOE radius has been nerfed really hard. I used to be able to Flash + R a good 2 to 3 people reliably if they were somewhat close together... but now I'm finding that the combo often doesn't land. This and the fact that Tibbers is now auto-attack based can lead to somewhat awkward scenarios where you die before Tibbers gets his damage out (ex Alkali certainly turns invisible whereas before, the AOE + my Q and W would have fried her).

The flip side is that you have Hextech Belt and R seems to be up a lot more often (probably due to how they inserted a lot of CDR into AP items).

Not a big fan of it in general because I've always thought that Annie was supposed to bring a TON of potentially multi-target burst to make up for the fact that she had no mobility and very short range. Now that she seems to have been reworked so that she's more of a 1 vs 1 type of champ... not sure why I wouldn't just go Lux instead.

She plays more like an Assassin without an escape now (with a focus on 1 vs 1); with the lower AOE radius the odds of you Flash combo-ing half or their entire army is pretty much gone. Not really liking Riot's decision here.

That's some crazy luck though. Getting one of the ten gemstones alone that you need to craft the skin is extremely unlikely.

I love the low casualty/high damage play style of the Vlad.

Its too bad I can't unlock level 6 and 7 Vlad without more chests.

It's funny because the ban came 2-3 minutes after the game in question, when I barely said anything but got reported by a premade because they felt like it. I already knew that Riot uses bots and not real people to judge, but hey, I didn't expect them to be so transparent about doing such a horrible thing.

You can buy a mystery champ shard in the shop for 1700 IP and then break what you get down into blue essence.

As for that game, the 0/8 Udyr has a Duskblade... that hurts to look at and makes me sad.

Luckily for me, I have this one guy in bronze 5 who quit the game and gave me his account. He has, like, all the champions and a bazillion skins and stuff. It's insane.

Once you're at the 2-week ban, it's too late to do anything. Whether or not the next few months will be ok or not, you'll just wake up with a permaban anyway.
