Hmmm... okay I just read it.

The new Tides of Blood seems a bit wonky and unwieldy, I'm not sure if it can still be used to help CS though which is a point of concern for me.

Q and R got some buffs which I hope won't get reversed. Since so much of Vladimir's playing involves poking and trading with Q and since it takes no real effort to proc the new extra damage passive... there's just no downside. R's heal is nice (even though most of the time, you or your enemies will all be dead by the time R is finished casting).

This new Tides of Blood... I dunno... it seems a bit sloppy. Its going to be very annoying if you can't insta-fire it like the old ability. I also really hope you can move and charge at the same time...

I believe you can, I remember reading something about his E slowing him a bit once it's at max charge, a bit like vi I'm guessing. On the bright side, it's a pretty fast charge.

I liked Zyra when she was on rotation, I might go back, these new ability changes look pretty cool.
If i'm understanding this right, her passive now works a bit like Illaoi's tentacle passive? That's pretty sweet.
Her Q looks like it's been made a bit harder to land which makes sense given the greater number of seeds you'll probably be able to hit.

Also looks like they're nerfing mana regen on items pretty much across the board. Which is irritating, but understandable I guess. After a certain point, running out of manna just isn't an issue for me, I could spam all my spells as soon as they cool down and not run out.

Item breakdown:

Archangels and Morello have lost mana regen, although Archangels still has it to an extent.
Athene's Grail's changes look....interesting.
Damage dealt turns into stacks that can heal allies when using a heal or shield.
Also has increased mana regen when health > mana and increased health regen when mana > health.
Be curious to see how it works in practice, but it's lost the passive mana regen's unless your health is greater than your mana.
Rod of ages lost it's level up mana and health regen, but gained mana gain on damage taken and health gain on mana spent
Abyysal Scepter actaully gained a cooldown reduction, as did Zhoyna's Hourglass

Looks like they've reworked all of the builds so they all use Fiendish Codex now as well. The lesser items have been changed to reflect the bigger builds new passives.

Eh? I do really well with him in mid lane. His damage output over the course of a long game is very high and if played carefully, you can survive early. The only problem is, your other lanes may already have fed by the time you get your mid/late power spike... which is why I recommend only using him in situations where you have one other good Party member.

I got a random Nottingham Ezreal by spinning together 3 of the skin shards. Its not bad since its legacy.

I like green. I'm not a big fan of the splash art for Nottingham Ezreal though.

I kind of stopped playing Ezreal though after realising that I almost always consistently got better results playing more traditional carries like MF and Ashe.

Her basic spells are mostly unchanged - her E now gives general damage resist instead of armor/magic resist

Tibbers doesn't do as much damage on cast, but now gets a huge attack speed and movement boost towards any target Annie stuns, as well as going Sion berserk if Annie is killed while he's out

I can't wait to try it out for myself. I really want to keep playing Vladimir. He is my ''party trick'' champion and for a long time has been my signature pick.

My low elo friends in ranked regularly invite me to the games so that they can have my Vladimir in top or mid lane. I really want to keep doing it...

I think in general it sounds like Q and R got buffed for sure. Q has less damage per hit but the cool down has been reduced and the third Q sounds like a huge damage boost. R's healing is a nice extra touch to a great Ultimate.

I just don't know about E... Worst case scenario, I can retool my fighting style to use E more selectively since I'm already mostly fighting with Qs anyways. It's interesting how the Tides of Blood can be fired in Pool mode though...

What I am more worried about than anything else is that this will open the door to a LOT of instability with the champion... whereby they keep adjusting and tweaking his abilities, numbers, damage, and cool downs for patches and patches to come. It gives me no reassurance whatsoever.

My impression of the AP items rework is that while they made the AP scaling for many items a lot more awkward for a lot of them, they introduced a lot of mobility items with burst components. I feel that this will strengthen the class and increase their threat level to AD carries in the late game because now they can initiate combos with those actives as opposed to just with Flash (the effect against Assassins is uncertain since the AP scaling for a lot of the items went down).

This will likely feed into a cycle where Riot decides to boost Assassins as well so that they can better deal with these new Mage changes.

You know who'll suffer from all of that cycle the most?

The ADCs. Later on they'll have to worry about buffed Assassins AND Mages armed with mobility actives (even a Lux will suddenly become a gap-closer threat with Active + Bind combos)... And since Marksmen have already been ''reworked'' it's going to take a very long time for the balance to be re-adjusted again.

I just can't see how adding more items with active gap closers is a good idea for this game; it just seems a bit unfair towards ADCs...

So long as I can still press F + R + W + Q + Ignite and 100-0 someone in lane without MR items... it's all cool. So long as I can still do F + R + W + Zhonya on 2 or more targets to start team fights... it's all cool.

I kind of like that change. I always hated being on a complete roll as an AP champ, only for a crappy 1-7 Veigar to basically oneshot me.

How viable is Ziggs in this current meta?

Are his bombs much easier to aim than Lux's skill shots? (I'm pretty decent with fast skill shots like Amumu's bandage toss and Ezreal's Qs but I find slower shots like Blitz' hook and Lux's Q really hard).

Do you recommend practicing him? Worth the time?
