24/12...my God, where has Illaoi been all my life. I don't do that good as Champs I have masteries on.

But Illaoi man.. Really? That champ is so cheap. You don't have to do any real effort to prevent your opponent from farming because tentacles. Seriously the entire enemy team has to completely play around that one champion alone. It's just stupid.

''Zed is too dominant in every stage of the game'' really?

I mean, I must really suck at him then because I find him so unreliable to play. Maybe there's such a thing as an Elo where people can actually use his shadows to get kills before 6 on a consistent basis, but that's not definitely not really my experience with the champ.

And I'm not sure which version of the game is being played or talked about here where a late game Zed continues to be dominant instead of becoming largely irrelevant unless you are a God with him once people start making Zhonyas and QSS and group up with tons of CC. He's literally THE one champion that's the easiest to render irrelevant in team fights. I mean, it SUCKS that he has an Ult that literally expires.

And I never understood the arguments about how Mercurial Scimitar or Zhonya ''fucks up'' people's builds. They are GREAT items that would probably have been included in the build anyways in many situations, and they have viability far beyond just countering Zed. I've never understood that perspective. I'm not sure how someone's really thrown off track that much.

Nah son, you're just using the wrong build. Try this.

Its not that he's not good, I've seen some VERY good Zed's.

Its just that most of them at my elo lose the game for their team (their Zed is useless to the team unless they snowball and often, even when they snowball, they become useless late game).

But when you see a good Zed, they are really good (the ones that kill multiple enemies in a duel, almost ALWAYS proc Thunderlord's by hitting multiple Shurikens etc). I'm just surprised Riot would nerf such a high skill cap champ.

Well you might catch me in Normals doing some Lux practice. I've decided to try playing her again, having played some Ezreal and Amumu I came back to see if I could land Qs any better. It seems that I can land them at reasonable reliability in team fights and when I launch Ganks at my elo (i.e. when I have some element of surprise or when the enemy is busy fighting; they don't have to be entirely stationary). Landing them in lane is a lot less reliable and generally I prefer to save them in the laning phase for defensive maneuvers.

However... the damage output at the end of each match is just absolutely INSANE. Now that I've had some practice weaving spells with autos using Ezreal I've adopted the same fighting style to Lux, procing the passives after landing the Qs and Es and the damage output is just absolutely insane.

I don't think I deal anywhere close to this amount of damage on average as an ADC. I mean, is Lux supposed to out-damage the ADCs or is it just because its low elo and people are just too grouped together for her attacks?

Lux literally fights like a Bomber aircraft. You stand at the edge, spam Qs and Es and autos while kiting if necessary, landing a few Ults here and there. Once mana runs out you go back to HQ to refuel... then you take off and go on another bombing run. The low death to high damage ratio is so satisfying. Its basically Ezreal ON DRUGS except without the blink (but you get a shied and I also run Barrier).

I think the champion has tons of potential because I'm not even landing everything right now...

Silver 2 is a dead end, it's unreal. Kind of like what Plat 3 was for me. I used to main mid Sona so I finally got her again on my new main and everywhere I go these people are like "report sona" or they feed and shit. What is this elo?

Yeah, I now refused to play Ranked at all unless I have at least 1 or 2 other people from my friends' list in the party. I find that it tends to minimise AFKs and trolls on our team.

Holy shit. This is the worst patch I've ever seen.
They ruined so many items with this. Guess nobody will be building Morellonomicon ever again.
