My FPS is so bad I can't leave anything else open when I play. But I do constantly get character quotes stuck in my head. "A harvest moon, so aptly named" was probably the worst offender for that.

How bad is the FPS?

Mine is about 92 ms... if it spikes above 100 I may have trouble last-hitting and dodging skill shots.

My ping stays around 40-50 but it can jump up a ton every once in a while. My fps used to be terrible, around 10, but I changed some settings and it fixed itself. Now it's back to being laggy during teamfights, and It's really hard playing Zilean when you can't make split second decisions.

When they moved the servers 90 felt like someone took shackles off my character.

uhh 92 ms would be ping not fps.

Ping is your connection to the server, fps is frames per second, or how cleanly the program runs on your computer.

I get a nice 30 ms ping though.

I've tried Blue Ezreal and have experienced great success with him in Normals. The damage is consistently very high and the character can kite the living hell out of the enemy team.

Ez seems a tad overpowered now... I mean his Q is essentially a super-long-ranged auto attack with tons of on-hit effects by mid game (it's spammable every 2 to 3 seconds) at essentially no mana cost. Yes it can miss but I can hit it pretty well and there's no penalty for missing since you can try again in a few mere seconds (and I'm not good at skill shots, my Lux gets flamed a lot for missing the ''easy'' binds). His poke, chase, and disengage is ridiculous; his slows are even more effective and ranged than Ashe's.

Add in the fact that he basically has a Flash every few seconds...

I think after a bit of practice I might be interested in trying this character in ranked.

Yeah he ruined my day. As for most other characters, my low cool down ''Flashes'' plus the slows from the Qs are usually enough to troll them for the whole game...

The thing that's a bit frustrating about playing Ez though, is that I find his laning phase a lot more passive than MF's. If other people Gank I can follow up very well because of my teleport capability (assuming I land my skills) but in the absence of that... it usually devolves into a farm fest. Sometimes the other laners will push really hard and I will be using my abilities in addition to my autos to try and keep the wave from reaching my tower too fast. It's hard to land Q on the enemy because they'll just hide behind minions in laning and its often not worth shooting it at them just for harass (since it would take about 5 to 6 consecutive shots to actually land a kill and I'm nowhere that accurate, I might as well conserve the shots to secure the tricky last hit CS chances).

I'm a bit confused about Ezreal's W. I fire W when attacking towers and dragons at my team-mates so that they auto-attack faster while activating my AS bonus. But in terms of dueling and team fights... should I be using W to fight? So far, I've only been using Q and auto-attacks (just Q if I'm in poke mode). What is W's role in a Blue Ez build? Am I supposed to lob it at the enemy too or is it generally not worth it? Should I launch it too in my all-ins or is it better to use Q and then get as many autos in before Q-ing again?

Ezreal's W is only good if you build AP, if you don't it's best to just use it for the AS bonus, other than that it's pretty useless if you build AD.

I usually do very well early game (I will kill the mid laner either through an early gamble with Ignite, through a friendly Gank, or an all-in slightly after level 6). And then I go roaming/pushing towers and secure more kills.

And then one of two things happen.

1. We win and the game ends.

2. The enemy continues to fight despite losing a few more towers and despite Zed winning mid-lane. As the war drags on... Zed feels increasingly useless (most of the team starts arming Zhonyas), they start grouping up in 4s and 5s and I'm left with a very sub-standard poking capability. If I go all-in I MIGHT take down the ADC but I'm focused and killed soon after. Heck, even the mid-laner I killed earlier starts becoming more useful than me in these late game battles (they usually have AOE capabilities or a lot of CC, say a Lux or a Ziggs).

How do you do well as Zed in the late game?

If I die just to delete a Carry or a mid-laner I was ahead of... it doesn't sound like its worth that much...

In teamfights just try and take out a squishy without dying, but if you can't then, well that's the problem with zed. He's really not that useful late game. You have to decide if the trade off for early and mid game power is worth it.

If they're grouping split push, Zed's pretty good that that.

He's unbelievably fun. The constant poking with Q is just way too fun, and I like how there's an option to stay back and poke VS going in with Q + autos at the right time. E's repositioning is just way too versatile. I'm loving the low casualty to damage ratios.

His laning phase is consistent but it seems that he'll be on the defensive for most of it against the traditional match-ups.

The only problem with playing him in Ranked though is that you're essentially praying that your team doesn't throw the game before you get your Blue items and are in a position to leave bot lane. Then you may or may not be able to kite/poke your way to victory.

Zed might not be the champion for me then, not a huge fan of split pushing. I'm generally more of a team fighter and I like dealing safe sustained damage to many targets; the general exception to the rule being Annie.

I don't think its a very good deal then.

You might as well go Annie. Tons of burst damage (in my opinion, its just more powerful and consistent) that can hit multiple targets. You still have relatively high kill potential in lane as well as roaming capability (it may even be better than Zed because you can already roam pre 6 with a Flash W stun). In team fights, you will always be relevant on some level.

You have no escape but arm a Zhonya, aim the Ult carefully, and by the time you are dead you've probably dealt enough damage for it to be worth it.

Weaker laning but post 6, people are hesitant to all-in you. Worst case scenario you get poked the living hell out of pre 6 and then you just farm safely while waiting for team fights later.

I find it scary as hell whenever she moves out of the jungle to attack my lane; spider form or normal form (the spider legs coming out of her back are so nasty). Her Lore is also very very disturbing...
