I might do that with new Vlad (once they rework him) if he gets better clears; he might since they are lowering Q's early cool down. However, the last time I tried Vlad JG he had a very hard time clearing early (he was always low on HP but maybe that's because I run AP runes and not CDR runes).

Once he is reworked he'll have more CC and burst in his kit; it could be a scary sight for a vampire-looking character to rush out of the bushes with a blood balloon in the air that goes pop and then for the enemy to get slowed 40% while taking a hit... I'll probably rush Cinderhulk and Rylais and then go full Tank so that late game he can be a team fighting Tank with tons of CCs and Ult capability.

New Vlad would also be a marginally better ADC since they are increasing his base AD damage with autos.

I always prefer cdr in terms of flat ap/ad runes on champs like that. Since I've gotten into playing Shaco so much I've started to use a lot more cdr, movement/attack speed, armor and mr with my rune pages to focus less on damage and more on keeping alive and on the move. The scaling armor/mr runes work well late game when playing champions that have armor/mr bonuses added to their kit like Poppy and Taric.

No idea how new Vlad will be with jungle though. I haven't read up on the mage update that much. The only thing that really scares me is the Malzahar update. That shit's gonna be scary.

Yeah I learned my lesson.

I went Vladimir ADC build, proceeded to get my teeth kicked in by the enemy Caitlyn who not only outranged me, but had ThunderLords armed and continually activated it with annoying combos and autos. Whenever I moved up to CS she would land an auto. It was a very bad game needless to say.

I never work well with Braum. Braum players always go ham on the enemy duo even when minion positioning is bad and then they complain that I don't follow aggressively enough when they ''mark'' the enemy.

Not everything in the game is meant to be played for damage and damage isn't everything. It's a team game and supportive champions are pretty damn useful.

To be fair I'd rather have Blitz, Thresh, Leona, or a damage support (ex Brand or Vel) over Braum any day.

It looks like Riot DID respond to the demands from Vladimir's fans to raise the numbers for his sustain and damage. Q's normal healing has been restored and E's damage has been increased.

I cannot wait for 6.9...

The old Vlad was like a chill bored immortal ''yeah whatever I'll just heal it back... let's just farm okay?''

The new Vlad is just hungry for blood all the time... with third Qs chunking MASSIVE amounts of health and blood balloons exploding that chunk your own health if you don't aim them properly. It's going to take a while to get used to this new paradigm...

Now it actually matters when you go all-in and when you poke defensively (the Hextech Belt is also an important part of my new strategy)...

we just had an all Mage team and destroyed the enemy due to the new balancing...

Edit: Braum's is annoying in that it's stopped by minions.
Which makes sense of course, but fuck me if I haven't fumbled a gank opportunity or lost a teammate cause some mindless drone wandered into the crossfire.

Though if you have high ping, it does get difficult to land them, or to dodge them, or to even just play the game xd

On the contrary, sometimes it helps. I recall one time I played Mundo and unexplainably landed each and every cleaver on their Shyvana, despite crippling lag.

Intermediate bots don't even get me started. I swear they cheat sometimes.

Myeah, I'll admit that landing hooks with Thresh is quite a pain, due to the projectile's slow speed and the slow casting animation. It has a real funky hitbox though, unless they fixed that recently.

Just played a match against intermideates to test your theory. They didn't even try to move out of the way of my skillshots.
Also this new ice-cannon thingie is pretty neat.
