Alright, marking the day for me to switch back to Heroes of the Storm..
Jk, I don't wanna wait half an hour for every match to begin, but seriously though, this patch is going to suck.

Been in it since Beta. It's a great game but not many people play it.

I vividly hate the AP item changes they're making, really fucks up a lot of my builds.

What do you think of building a Guardian Angel on Miss Fortune late game? I decided to run one in a game where Master Yi was just outright deleting everyone. He was squishy enough to be deleted with the rest of my guns, the extra revival time + my kiting allowed the team to peel for me.

So it would serve as a final or semi-final item depending on when we start to see a hyper-aggressive one-shot character (ex a devourer Jax or a fed Kha Zix). The rest of the build is pure damage.

Is it a good deal to get a GA? I mean, it can be quite stressful to get one-shotted later and then just throw the game immediately (all the damage be damned). But at the same time, the GA will probably take the place of an extra AD weapon (ex a Bloodthirster), and that EXTRA little bit of damage on the MF Ult or that one Crit could land a few more kills...

I usually only get GA if I'm going to be splitpushing. Any other time I get it, what usually happens is the enemy team kills me then just hangs around to kill me again after GA gets done.

I find that it helps more if their fed characters are squishy assassins my team mates might be able to delete before I come back from the dead. So say a Shaco or a Master Yi. I find that sometimes it even discourages the initial assassination if they know they'll be trading their life for an uncertain chance to kill me if my team doesn't peel before I come back.

If its a bunch of fed bruisers, then its probably not worth it (they'll just delete you after you revive since the rest of the team probably can't delete them).

Though ideally, if I sense that I can outplay them for most of the game, I just do all damage items for the whole game to maximize damage and fight from behind my tanks.

I've had games where my BLITZCRANK (who basically can't land a hook unless they are running straight at me and therefore misses over 80% of all hooks thrown in the match)... has the most kills and assists with the least deaths just by using knock-ups, silences, and auto attacks.

And of course, we lose... horribly.

IT IS SAD.

Solo Q's match-ups can seem so random sometimes.

Nami is fun.
Had an interesting match recently where we had a solo top laner who was just. Utter. Shite.
Kept feeding and feeding. Had to do an about turn and start building an AP set to take over.
Luckily it was early game, and intermediate bots, so it didn't end badly.

Its similar to my Annie ''support.''

In ranked last season if I got thrown into support, I would go full AP Annie in bot. The only difference is that I take Ancient Coin and don't CS. Its unorthodox and the team will suffer from lack of vision and some utility items but it works in low elo =)

I think its because the other sides is just as unlikely to ward at low elo . Plus you can try to carry from support bot lane in case your team mates fail.

I don't know if they are playing the same game... but I just don't see how Jhin can be ''God tier'' (a whole tier higher than Kog Maw or Lucian) as a marksman when he deals no DPS and his Ult is complete lacklustre compared to Ults that are actually useful and instantaneous (like MF's Ult or Ashe's Enchanted Crystal Arrow). Heck, at my elo, having a Jhin on your team is a huge red warning sign more often than not. I used to sarcastically say...

Also... TWISTED FATE? GOD TIER?! FOR REAL?!!!!

You can run an ADC in Mid and kick that joker's teeth in.

It used to be AT LEAST credible (on the surface). Back in the days when they had a Mid lane God Tier list that made sense. But now its just all over the place.

The tenacity, magic pen, cdr and of course the ms boots can provide is far too important.
A tank without Mercury's Treads will just get raped by cc and so on. Imagine a jungler without boots, they'd be too slow to actually do their job.
The speed it gives you is just too essential, it helps you move from one place to another faster, which is very important and it also helps you outrun or chase down enemies.

Debatable. She does poor damage with the regular support build and is practically useless with a full AP build because she doesn't fulfill the role of the support in the latter scenario.

Second: I didn't have time to build anything before it ended.

Hence why supports build Sightstone first, and work on multiple utility items simultaneously before going into, say, an AP item.

Three: I never buy boots.

Why? Boots are incredible in numerous ways; the extra movement speed allows better agility in lane and increased roaming potential for supports, and its wide variety of upgrade options permit you to adapt to the opposing team's composition.

Four: DON'T TELL ME HOW TO BUILD. I know what I'm doing.

I wasn't telling you "how to build," merely suggesting the typical and proven-successful build-path for an AP support. The caps are unnecessary too.

Also, the irony of a Bronze 5 player telling me they "know what they're doing" is quite funny.
