Man, I really thought Tantrum was going to win that fight. After he beat Battle Royale With Cheese, I thought Tantrum could take on any horizontal spinner.

Any idea when they will reveal the renewal and the bots for the next season?
I would like to see this group make brackets and pick up where we left off.

If discovery gets its shit together and gives the builders more than 2 months or so to rush out bots then next season will be amazing. The facebook page has been constantly mentioning a next season so I'm quietly optimistic.

The final was amazing, I don't think I've ever seen the side of Minotaur just ripped off. Bite Force absolutely dominated this season, with its only hiccup against HU GE.

Will the science channel episode have a bonus fight? Another exhibition match hopefully?

I heard rumors that Valkyrie vs Overhaul and Duck vs Gigabyte were filmed, though I can’t confirm that.

The hype around Which Doctor isn't as sickening as the hype around Chomp. It's the most expensive failure in Battlebots ever. At least Witch Doctor is capable of winning a fight, and doesn't spend most of it's time on it's side. Yet, they highlighted all of Chumps (sorry that's Chomp's) fights like it was relevant to the contest. I wonder, if the builder wasn't a lesbian feminist, if they'd pay any attention to it at all?

True, but it was once a better bot, and would've beaten Tombstone if it had a srimech. I've heard people say that they hate it because of an undeserved wildcard, but they forget that Chomp, Warhead, and Overhaul were the others. Witch Doctor was the best wildcard that season.

So it sounds like starting next Friday, Battlebots will be releasing all the unaired fights from the season. They're probably not the best, but they're something. As far as I can tell, we can expect to see the following fights.

Actually, I think that if they put the engineering drama in the proper show, it wouldn't be conducive to an environment friendly for our desperately-needed casual viewership. I like it the way it is- a side show for the superfans while everyone gets to enjoy a little more destruction in the actual show.

That's a fair point, I just personally dislike how they don't show anything from the pits in Battlebots. Robot wars does a much better job of filler between fights imo.

I learned that Tombstone was supposed to fight End Game, but the latter spent too much time replacing their disc with their bar, and so they were replaced by Tantrum.

A shame. I wanted to watch a US Carbide vs Aftershock.
