Not sure if this counts, but I saw the 2021 adaptation of West Side Story just yesterday. Surprisingly dark musical :p

If you want an actual movie, I saw the D&D movie around 2 weeks ago

Fast X. You will feel pretty much how ever you feel about it now after you watch it. The series continues to be ridiculous. Mamoa has definitely made a choice with his character. Kinda works.

John Wick 4

A really bad movie called Solar something. Forgot.
Basically; solar meteorites hit the earth, Radiation happens and the zombie apocalypse happens. Really bad graphics. You would think it was awhile ago and yet it was 2015(I think).

The animated The Little Mermaid and then the new 'live action' The Little Mermaid.

It occurred to me that I've never actually watched that movie. She gives up her fishtail for almost literally the first dude she sees at 16. She's gonna want that fishtail back. I've been someone's 16 year old crush...she's gonna want that fishtail back.

It's almost word for word/shot for shot except that they take out that proto 'be our guest' song where the chef tries to cook Sebastian and they add a second song for Ariel and one for Scuttle. And Erik. It also takes place in the Caribbean somewhere, something that I guess will further upset people who were upset that Ariel wasn't white.

Sam Whiskey - I had forgotten how young Burt Reynolds was when he started in movies, what a shock.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods.

Oh my god that was BORING, cliche, BORING, took from several movies, and BORING.

I found myself checking things on the Net as it was soo BORING!

Sorry Zach. Even if it was advertised as a family film; it would not have changed anything.

Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu has some weird face thing going. Both looked stretched.

Did I mention it was BORING?

The Train Robbers (1973)

Not one of John Wayne's better Westerns.

Soldiers. Story from Ferentari

It's a Romanian movie about gay love in Bucharest's poorest neighborhood, Ferentari. It's pretty cool, I recommend it if you wanna see how these people's lives are like.

The Thing, the original, not the shitty prequel from 2011. Astonished I hadn't watched it before 'cause it's really good.

Guardians of The Galaxy (the first one)

Felt like rewatching it and it concidentially was on cable at the moment so I grabbed my snacks and watched the entire thing. My personal favorite Marvel movie, followed by Thor and Ant-Man.

Quantumania

Oh man did that hurt. It’s a pretty film and has no heart. I would have been pissed to have paid theater prices for this.

Still; I knew it was a problem when you have lines like: “It’s never too late to stop being a dick”
