Batman (1989)

After loving the Nolan Trilogy this was a huge difference, but I like Burtons style just as much. I love how he manages to mix the camp and goofiness of the originals and begins to get into the darker, grimmer side of Batman.

Also, Jack Nicholson was the best Joker. Fight Me.

I do quite enjoy the Burton Batman films, even if some of the later ones can be kind of goofy and silly at times. I also really like that Joker, not so outrageously violent, but also not cartoonish like the Adam West era. A nice middle ground and balance.

Is Paris Burning?

Extremely underrated film, should be right up there on the lists of the best WW2 movies.

Reminded me of Harold and Maude if Harold was a punk loser and Maude was Steve Buscemi and didn't, you know, die.

I would have enjoyed this movie so much as a kid. Not to say I didn't love it now too.
