Hotel Transylvania, I forgot how funny that movie was. Found out it was an Adam Sandler film too which surprised me. I suppose a broken clock is right twice a day...

Searching. Convoluted, pretty depressing, but the ending was surprising and it was relatively realistic when it came to the online parts. Good movie.

Carry on Spying from 1964. One of the better Carry on films, but god does it seem dated nowadays. Interestingly it features Boris Johnson's post box gag - which shows how old his jokes are.

Los Ultimos de Filipinas

Very good film. I like a lot of foreign films, since they don't have the budget for CGI they invest much more in quality dialogue and good story-telling.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Surprisingly coherent despite my not having watched any other Mission Impossible movies before this.

And also pretty good, if
imo, inconsistent position on the main theme of "what do about the trolley?"

The 1937 version of King Solomon's Mines with Paul Robeson.

The 1941 version of The Ghost Train with Arthur Askey (he always seems like a deeply unpleasant person to me)

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, my favourite of the Indiana Jones films.

Operation Finale, not bad nor good just serviceable.

Searching...clever. Now never do that again.

Blackkklansman. Very good. Powerfully juxtaposes white supremacy with the black rights movement, while telling a tense and engaging story. It's not as insightful about racism as American History X or This is England, but worth watching nonetheless.

Started watching Regression, then realised I'd seen it before and not liked it. So I watched St Vincent, also seen it before but at least it has Bill Murray in it.

The Nun. Honestly it's pretty much standard-fare horror, though the performances were great.

Spring Breakers, I think it is a good film, innovative, satisfyingly bleak, lots of energy, not the usual saccharine vehicle for Disney survivors.

The Predator. Spent the first ten or fifteen minutes going, 'No, they're not gonna..." and the rest of the movie going "oh, yeah. they are."

Rewatched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, still found it irritating rather than engaging.
