Into The Inferno

A very well done documentary on the subject of volcanoes across the Earth, especially interesting was the part where Mt.Paektu in the DPRK is showcased and explained.

Nightcrawler is a really good little film about a psychopathic ambulance chasing journalist played by Jake Gyllenhaal. It's a nasty piece of work, and all the better for it.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is fun. Not as fun as the first film, but still a pretty good romp.

I just watched it as well. A good film, I like that kind of dark satire, like Fight Club. Think I would have liked slightly less of a Robert de Niro homage in the portrayal of the main character.

Tried watching Carol, but after half an hour I was unengaged and bored so I turned it off.

Red State, great cast - Melissa Leo and John Goodman make everything better. Enjoyed it, but never really understood why they kidnapped the three straight teenagers.

Yesterday me and my brother watched "The last airbender" for the first time since 2010 so we could spend most of the time making fun of the acting, bending and props it was fun.

The Simpsons Movie

It's been a long time since I've seen this. It doesn't live up to the classic episodes, but I'll take it.

Hot Rod (2007) Off-beat comedy about a wannabe stuntman trying to win his stepfather's respect. Rather enjoyed it.

Me and my brother watched Independence day resurgence Primarily to mock. And boy was it stupid. I have no clue how but if they make a third one, I know Emmerich will shoehorn Judd Hirsch in their. I liked Brent Spiner though.

Elle 2016. Although it had been on my checklist for sometime, I went in with modest expectations and came out thoroughly pleased. Fantastic performances.

Ever since some other stuff happened, I haven't been watching as much films as I wanted to.

But the last movie I streamed was the film adaptation of The Little Prince. I totally didn'y cry when
the old aviator died.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Quite good.
Capitalism, single-payer healthcare, pro-choice, LGBT rights, progressive personal taxation, low corporate tax, pro-business law, welfare for those in need.
Nazism, edgism, dogmatic statements, most of Abrahamic-derived morality (esp. as law), welfare for those not in need.

The Fall of the Roman Empire (1964). It's a cruel irony that this was the film that killed off the sword-and-sandals genre in Hollywood for decades: It's one of the best of both it's era and kind. Fantastic writing and performances almost across the board. Although I could have done with a bit less of Sofia Loren.

Rewatched Richard Lester's The Four Musketeers (1974), always a pleasure, I love his musketeer films to me they are the best versions.
