Klaus

I recommend this if you're in the mood for a Christmas movie. It's not like any other Christmas movie I've seen because of its unique premise and beautiful animation.

Ford v Ferrari. I thought it was fantastic.

Last movie at the movies was Zombieland Double Tap. I enjoyed it but really didn't inspire me.

After Art of Racing in the Rain I really needed this to work. I couldn't have two tanker racing movies in one year.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Blade Runner 1982, because you know it's November 2019.

The Shout nostalgic rewatch for me, though it is never as good as I want it to be. Young beardless Tim Curry was so Tony Blair like.

Ghost in the Shell not long since I saw it but I remembered surprisingly little of the plot.

I recently saw A Taxing Woman (1987) by director Juzo Itami, who also directed Tampopo. I never thought I could get so interested in a film about uncovering tax evasion, but I did. The whole plot is about this female tax investigator, Ryōko Itakura, investigating the head of a string of Love hotels, Hideki Gondo, and his co-conspirators for evading their tax. It was quite funny at times for me, and I especially enjoyed the music; despite there only being three songs in the entire film. My favourite scene would have to be when they start raiding everybody. I would recommend it. Although, as a warning, there is a fair amount of nudity throughout the movie.

Being a fan of Tampopo I watched that back when it came out. I wouldn't mind watching it again.

The last movie I watched all the way through was Hocus Pocus. I had never seen it before, and I'm glad I can say I've seen it now. I can see why it's a cult classic. Bette Midler hamming it up is way fun to watch.

Just watched the new Netflix documentary about Bikram Choudhury. Super crazy how I never heard of Bikram or what he did... or should I say super disturbing?

Catch us if you can the John Boorman directed vehicle for the Dave Clark 5. It's not as good as A hard days night, but I have a soft spot for it.

Knives Out. It was very good. I kinda expected a twist but I didn’t expect them to make it as convoluted as it was.
